I've been eating here for 20 years because I used to live down the street from it. HoChi, as it is affectionately known, has satisfied many a late night craving. While the look has grown slightly more upscale over the years, the food is just as good as it's always been, it's still cheap and it's made fast. The place has character and personality in an area growing increasingly devoid of it. Treat yourself to some chicken wings with mambo sauce and a large half and half. You won't regret it.

Me and my friend were visiting DC from Vancouver Canada. Neither of us had heard of mambo sauce so we asked around. Our cab driver told us this was the place to go. My God was he right, I got 6 pieces of fried chicken wings and fries and smothered that in mambo sauce. Unbelievable, my taste buds went nuts! I recommend anyone to go here! I wish we had this in Vancouver!

The mambo sauce is orange, tangy, and amazing. Chicken wings hot, crispy, juicy, and delicious. The fries are on point. Steak and cheese eggroll is sublime; who knew deep fried lettuce could be so good?

Consistent food for over 20 years prices and portions are more than fair. One of the best carry outs in DMV.
