I've had bad experiences with other dental offices in the past. This place however, was incredible! Everyone that I encountered was friendly, personable, and most importantly professional. Very view businesses greet you with a smile these days, so I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by several. They made sure that I was comfortable during the visit, answered all questions that I had, and restored my smile to its former glory. I'll definitely be going back.

I've been going here for 9 years! Dr. Julie and the entire office staff are so kind and welcoming. I absolutely adore my Hygientist- Holly. Over the years I've had my share of dental work done (besides cleanings) and always felt safe and comfortable under their care. They have a way of making you feel like family. I recently had an emergency and they saw me right away, which made me finally realize I needed to give them a shout out! Truly grateful!!

I have been going to this office for about 8 years and it has always been great. I love Dr. Julie and Holly and for the most part all of the staff has been friendly. I recently went to take my son for his routine cleaning which is covered at 100%. When i left i was not required to pay. So about 2 weeks later my husband has an appointment and they call me for his insurance information. Stating that they need to verify benefits before they can see him. So i give the information and im told by Anna Alicia that we have a balance of $240 that will have to be paid when my husband comes in. Immediatly I question that considering our cleanings are covered and thats all we come here for. I ask her what the balance is for and she tells me that the visit was processed out of network. I asked how that was possible considering i was just seen a couple of weeks before with the same insurance and the same thing done. All she can tell me is that it was out of network.So i asked are you in network. And she said yes. Please tell me what kind of billing people you have working at this office. So i called my insurance to get some clarification. They told me because there was a fill in dentist there and not Dr. Howard and he was not in network. First of all, every physician that is practicing in the same office should be in network. Second, we were not told that we would be seeing someone different , which someone argued with me saying that we were told . And third, isn't that what the office should be finding out when you are doing verification via phone? You sure were so eager to verify my husbands insurance before his visit but not my sons?? I am well versed in billing and i know how billing should be handled in an office. When an office makes a mistake you dont just drop the balance to the patient even though the patient was not in the wrong. I would never have expected this from this office. As advised to whoever answered the phone when i had my insurance on a three way call. You were very rude and part of the reason that me or my family will not be coming back.

I recently relocated to the Savannah area for work and had to go through the grueling process of finding a new dentist. I was greatly pleased with my first visit with Howard Dental and Dr. Julie. Tamika: Great in preparing me for the visit and making the intake forms available to me prior to the appt. Courtney: Very engaging hygienist who gave me great advice about the care of my teeth. Best dentist I've ever had.
