Story

Built in 1832 and operated as a hotel since then, the Hudson House River Inn is truly part of Hudson River history. The Hudson House is located on the serene waterfront approximately one hundred feet from the Hudson River in the quaint, antique shopping village of Cold Spring. When at the Hudson House you will indulge in breathtaking views of West Point, Storm King Mountain and the majestic Hudson River and mountains. The inn is currently on the National Register of Historic Places. Whether you visit Hudson House River Inn for a long weekend, a romantic dinner for two, or for a private function, we are sure Hudson House will leave a lasting memorable impression.

Wonderful location on the Hudson looking across to West Point. Excellent dining at lunch and a delicious looking dinner menu. Service, food and drinks at lunch were outstanding! We crossed the River at the Bear Mt. Bridge from Rt. 9 W just to stop here for lunch on our way home to Philly from a New England trip...yes it's that good. Looking at staying here for Thanksgiving. The property is marvelous and a perfect country Inn for a holiday experience. It's also a great base for exploring the Hudson Valley.

Their good selection is excellent and prepared as requested, enjoyed the restaurant section. Not thrilled about the room accommodations, we requested two beds and got a mini suite, which was nice, however there were no closets or any place to hang our clothes, the only mirror is in the bathroom, the rooms need a fresh coat of paint (at least). Overall, not satisfied with the room and it's lack of accommodation.

Hudson House Inn was the place chosen for my daughter's baby shower. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding.

A wonderfully charming place with excellent service and great food! Good variety in the menu offerings. Food was cooked to perfection and fabulous!

Amazing food. Good dinner deal that includes 3 courses. Can't beat the beautiful view of the Hudson either. Try the popovers!
