Great view outdoor restaurant. You are right by Hudson River and amazing view of the mountain. Perfect for after long hike. The food are very good. We had brisket. Absolutely delicious and melts in your mouth. Cod fish was nicely done. If you are going to cold spring for hiking definitely stop by.

They have nice view of the river and the food was really good. We ordered Fresh Ravioli and the Seafood Stew.

Stopped in on my 25th anniversary. Read the reviews before hand and sounded like a nice place. Did not disappoint! The food was excellent along with the service. Our waitress was very nice. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to eat! Stopped again today for our anniversary. Still the same. Great food, friendly staff

My family and I decided to visit this place for the fact that our 2 little boys loves the trains that runs there. Well we requested an outside table which was excellent, however it started to rain a bit and we requested to move our seats before we placed our orders, as they moved us we realized that the kids was horrified ( they are ages 2-4) that they couldn't see the trains anymore, so we tried requesting to move to another table which they will be happy and we can enjoy the view as well (again before we placed our order). From here on I have never felt so disregarded and disrespected, we were totally ignored with the kids, and finally someone came to us and we explained why we wanted to have moved, there were 2 empty tables available that we were willing to take (even though it was splitting up our party) but we were ignored upon request and the manager knew we requested those tables, instead when I tried to talking to her about the move (again) she was very short in saying one minute and then placed someone else there knowing we had kids and were willing to move. At this time I was so upset I took my family and left . The view might be great but the attitude is not worth it. I visit Cold Springs every year with my family, but I will never visit this spot again. Hopefully they will realize that customers should not be ignored or disrespected. The funny thing is we got a better place about about two blocks down where the trains literally run a few feet away in full view, the food, service, live music, and the prices were excellent. I would rate there ten stars compared to the Riverview restaurant.

Love their food!!! I'm a biker with lots of riding friends. We've eaten lunch, dinner & have had our groups holiday get together there. It's off the beaten path but sooo worth stopping in for a gourmet meal on our riding path. I highly recommend this awesome restaurant!
