I only recently discovered Hug-Hes, despite having heard of it occasionally. I'm certainly glad I did. Since going the first time a few months ago I've already gone back a handful of times. Everything I've got there has been delicious and good sized portions. I'd say the price is great for what you get. Service is always very friendly and the atmosphere is pretty relaxed. It's a nice choice for a sit down meal without breaking the bank.

Absolutely delicious. I got their chicken fried steak with the sour cream and cheese mashed potatoes. The chicken fried steak was cooked perfectly to my taste. It was crispy and just delicious. Also big enough that I had half of it leftover for the next day. Wasn't quite as good the next day, but what can you expect when reheating food? Stole a few sweet potato waffle fries from my friend and they were wonderful as well.
Plus, the sugar cookies! So good! 
I'll definitely be going back here the next time I'm in the Ogden area.

I love this little gem in Ogden, super cute atmosphere and a drive-through window if you want a gourmet lunch to take out. Their pasta salads are amazing, however I minus one star because on several occasions they have put bacon in my salad when I have specifically told them to leave it out because I do not eat meat. A few times I drove back to my house and had to go all the way back to the restaurant to return the food but I've learned to just give it a little check before I leave now. The homemade bread and fruit butter is amazing!

Order the portobello mushroom and artichoke chicken with a choice of sides I took the tossed salad to start and then I had their pasta salad with my meal. The tossed salad was great the dressing was made in house.  I wasn't too crazy about the pasta salad was too sweet for my taste. But overall a good experience. I would recommend it to anyone.

I gave it three tries and on all three occasions the wait was unbelievable. The 1st visit I went with my coworker. It took so long before someone came to our table to get our drinks. Then it took another long wait for our server to come back to take our order. By the time the food got to our table we had to get it to-go. I never got to eat my lunch! The second time I was with my husband. I was hoping the last time was a fluke... It wasn't! The same thing... my husband wasn't impressed. The last time (three times the charm?) I went with my Mom. At every table I heard the servers say the same thing, "thank you for your patients" or "sorry for the wait"! My Mom and I waited over 10 minutes just to get someone to come over and ask if we wanted waters. My Mom agreed; great food but not worth the wait. My husband, my mom, or I will never go back. Too bad to as the food is great.
