What an absolute treat it is living three blocks from this place! I would give five stars, but when people see all five stars they don't read the review. Best price for the quality of the food and the service. Food is ALWAYS fresh and consistently prepared. Can sometimes be difficult getting a table, so plan on getting there early to secure a spot. EVERY dish is good!

Great food quality so far and I've tried a variety of their dishes: tempura ramen, pork ramen, tuna and hamachi rolls, special rolls, lunch bento with chicken teriyaki. Also, really great ambiance, love all the artwork and personal touches, cool chandeliers and friendly staff.

Awesome food. The service could be better though since our servers were not as enthusiastic to help us even though it was still far from closing.

I went there during my 3 days visit to Davis.
The staffs are very friendly and welcoming.
The food very good, I took a order of Yaki Unagi sushi $5.99 and a salmon shioyaki lunch $13.95 and everything was perfect. Until I get the bill and was charge for diner salmon set instead of lunch when it was nearly 13:00 (1:00pm) and not yet 14:30(2:30pm).
The waitress apologized and called the manager to fix it. The manager was a bit rude no apology but she fix to a total of 21.06.  Plus I gave a $3 tip to my waitress. I will come again but will careful see what they charge me on the bill 😊🤓

Very friendly staff and great food. The pepper fin is amazing and the rolls are not very sauced up. Can be slow if they are busy but it is the best sushi in Davis.
