Had to close out an account with a decent amount of money in it, being that we no longer live in Ohio. Being that we were traveling from Florida last Saturday solely to close out the account, we were surprised to find out the bank closed at 12. In four locations, the closing time for this specific branch was advertised as closing at 2pm: 1.) The time showed up as Saturday 9am-2pm on the google search. 2.) We called (while the branch was closed) to double check the closing time, the automated response specifically confirmed "Saturday 9am-2pm." Once we called on Saturday, upon entering Kentucky, the automated response confirmed again, however, once you are redirected to speak to the branch the hours change to Saturday 9am-noon. 3.) The Huntington website stated that the drive thru was open, Saturday 9am-2pm. 4.) we called corporate ("all calls are recorded for quality assurance") to confirm. The person on the other line confirmed that the branch's website is open Saturday 9am-2pm.
We finally got a hold of someone at the branch around 11:30am, who told us nothing could be done. Our arrival time was around 1pm. We are highly disappointed (to say the least) with Huntington Bank and this branch for the waste of time, money, and other resources for both the lack of attention to detail, and their lack of consideration for what they call "valued customers."
