Three levels of restaurant right on Pass-a- grille beach. Lower level is casual dining along with outdoor seating. 2nd level is a bit more fancy, they have a mother's day brunch there, nice outdoor seating with a view of the gulf. 3rd level is a bar with a great view. Definitely try their lobster bisque! It's delicious.

When my wife and I planned Christmas dinner this year, we had a number of options (this restaurant should keep this in mind). We are local but that fact is true whether you are vacationing or not. First and foremost, the service wavered from non-existent to down right rude. I tried very hard to find the positive in the food and the best I could say was the pasta salad was ok because I like olives and the candied carrots were good. Otherwise the food was terrible. Hot foods were cold, "fresh" seemed like the frozen section at a grocer, deserts were left out and dried out. The interior of the building was poorly maintained and filthy. Never again, there are too many great options here to waste our time and money on a place like this. Very, very disappointed.

We waited 30 minutes to be seated on a Thursday evening, which isn't a huge deal. We went to the rooftop terrace bar and it's nice. The views are good. But once seated, it took forever for our server to get back to us after ordering drinks. Then again a long wait to order food. We got apps...the alligator bites were tasty. And the onion rings are beer battered and cooked well. After that, we waited and waited for our main course food. 45 min from the time of ordering to it coming to the table...and another 15 min for the grouper tacos. I got the aforementioned grouper tacos with yellow rice. The rice came out 15 min before the meal and it was soaked in grease...butter maybe? And when the tacos finally came, they were greasy as well. They comped my meal with no argument...which I appreciate. If you want drinks with a nice view, check this place out. It is really pretty up top. Maybe we just had a bad night on the food.

Two stars for the food. That's being generous. The best part were the carrots. Our 2:45pm Christmas buffet down on Pass A Grille Beach was just hype. Certainly not worth anywhere near $30 a plate. Almost anywhere else our food would have been much better! Oh and the service was nonexistent! We were over half done with our plate when we we're offered the opportunity to ask for anything to drink by someone caring a tray of dirty dishes past us. Pretty much never had service. A different server walked by and finally cleared out plates since the table was so small we could hardly fit anything on it. The atmosphere is VERY under cared for. Dirty, Dirty ,Dirty! We were crammed against the back wall of the very noisy server station against a dirty wall that our shoulders had to be pressed up against so servers could walk by us carting large white sheets of paper they tore from the wall behind me to cover tables. Our tiny two top table had that white paper table covering that you normally would see at a completely different dining experience. It was personalized with our name written on the corner by the hostess for the server that we never seen except once. All the employees were miserable. I said that you and excuse me and it was met with silence and even lack of acknowledgement. While we ate I said to my husband how invisible I felt. He felt the same way as servers walked by over and over. The deserts were dried out from sitting out sliced for hours. After waiting as did the other tables around us, we had to ask someone else's server about our check. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. Sad part is that $69.53 meal was the only $ we spent on ourselves for Christmas so that stung. We already budgeted an extra $20 for the servers tip since it was Christmas. Needless to say we saved $20. Merry Christmas.
