Rick's Reef is a casual dining restaurant on St. Pete Beach featuring Fresh Food at Affordable Prices. We have Seafood, Burgers, Salads and Fresh Appetizers. There are daily lunch specials for $8, and Happy Hours is from 10 am to 4 pm Monday through Friday. We have a Late Night Menu every night.

Food was very good no complaints. Went even though negative reviews on yelp. We were able to find a seat right away. However staffing was not adequate as we had to wait over an hour to get our food. Other tables that were seated well after us received their food first and quickly. Appears we were "the sacrificial lamb" for the evening. Didn't help we had 2 young kids that were begging to either go make the food themselves or leave. They did give us 20% off our bill. With the young kids I would have rather paid the extra money so they could eat earlier.

Dinner entrees were very good...Fried Jumbo Shrimp (tasty breading), and Grouper Fajitas. Very rustic, casual place. If you want a fancier ambience, you might want to go elsewhere, but we did enjoy our food selections.

Food was great. Our server Will was attentive and friendly. Atmosphere good. I would have given 5 if it had not had patrons smoking at bar which was blowing in and stuffing us up . Bar was part of section indoor with them being still under roof.

We were brought here by the $2 Bloody Mary's (which my wife really liked) but were pleasantly surprised by the food too! First the indoor seating is smaller but with nice decor and plenty of TVs with sports. They also have outdoor seating too. To start, my wife ordered the jalapeno corn fritters and loved them! Definitely hot! With our main course kids got hamburger and Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was excellent! It was homemade and so yummy that I ate half of my daughters. Fries that came with it were quite tasty too. The deep fried corn was really good too! I will say my crab cakes were OK, but didn't love them. For dessert, we had key lime pie and theirs is right on point!!! We enjoyed so much we wanted more but were stuffed! Service was very good, friendly and attentive! Definitely recommend this place and we'll be back when we're in the area again!

Ricks reef is great! The smoked fish spread was fresh and very good. Catfish was very crispy, not fishy at all. I will be going back for sure. Will was our server and answered all of our questions and was very friendly to me and my family
