The food is great. It's reasonably priced. The kids always love it here! Thr kids meals come in little paper cars. The shakes are really good. The classic burger is always a safe bet. They also have options like pimento cheese burgers. That's always a fun change. We have always had great service here. The last time we visited the service was literally the best service ever. As you approach the door, they run and open it for you, either welcoming you inside, or thanking you for coming as you leave. The food never takes long to get to you, however, definitely longer than fast food. They actually make it to order. You see the grill and you know when your orders up if you're paying attention. This place is just a well oiled machine with great service, food, desserts, and prices. We go here once every few months as a family.

Ordered a chicken cheesesteak special with fries and drink for lunch. I noticed on the way to the car, that the bottom of the bag was soggy...not a big deal. However the entire bun was soggy. I tried to eat it, but the chicken was dry and crunchy and tasted as if they hadn't cleaned their grill throughout the day.... The sandwich was overly filled with extra onions and mushrooms that just seemed to slime within my mouth AND they left off a requested topping (I probably paid extra for) and the fruit punch needs to be removed from the menu, it's awful. The only thing that saved my lunch were the bag of fries that came with it, they were good. I called back to the restaurant only to be told that they'd take my name etc. to make me another order just like it...REALLY?!??!! I'm told it's policy NOT TO PROVIDE REFUNDS!!! Not Good! Hwy 55, Make sure your folks know at least a teeny bit about cooking, please. That's the type of mess to keep me from returning to a place and to hurry up and share with others. Customer satisfaction is Key for business. Hwy 55...I can't get no satisfaction!!

One of the best burgers around! The 50's diner atmosphere and friendly staff add to the experience. Also, their kids meals come in a take home paper car the kids will love.

Great food and nice workers! However, the inside needed some attention. There were flies all over the place and the floor and windows needed cleaning.

Great burgers. A hidden gem that is well known to the locals in North Carolina. I like this one for a quick daytime or evening burger with all of the trimmings. In par with the more well known burger-fries dine-ins.
