Best Hotel in Dallas! (Disclaimer: it's the only hotel in Dallas I have stayed in) But on a more serious note: I have stayed at many hotels for business and pleasure, and this one ranks high on my list. I attended a week long company event here and the hotel staff made the event spectacular. They had the best food I ever had at a large gathering (other than my wedding... I love you dear :-)). The hotel staff has event coordination down to a science. The rooms were clean, large, and bed was perfect for me. Also, being right at the airport made an easy arrival and departure. I will definitely return to this hotel in the future!

Work related visit (did not stay overnight). Excellent service by staff: extremely eager to help and knowledgeable. Clean and well kept building. No deferred maintenance, stained carpets, or dinged up wall corners or other unsightly things you find in many other hotels used for corporate events or conferences. I was impressed with attention to detail. The restaurant left something to be desired as food quality and price did not match up.

I stayed there for seven days while attending a meeting on site at the hotel. My room was the best part, clean, and the bed was comfortable. Front desk staff were very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. But because most meals were with a large group, the food was really just, bad. I would think that a hotel that charges as much as they do would provide better food choices, and good quality, and have some knowledge as to how to serve many people at one time. Some desserts were pretty good, but other than that, after just two days I started ordering out for delivery and took the very nice Grapevine shuttle into town and went to Target to buy microwavable food because it was better than what they were serving us. Also, the people serving us would speak in Spanish around us, as though we did not understand. Trust me I understand Spanish, and especially when staff is making fun of people. Also the dirty looks that many of us got from them we're just uncalled for. While there, the refrigerator in my room froze anything that I put in it no matter what setting I put it on, in the middle of heating up one of my microwave meals on day 4, there was a loud pop, and suddenly three floors did not have electricity in the wall where they microwaves were plugged in. I reported it immediately on the house phone. When I left a few days later, they still were not repaired. While doing laundry in the laundry center, which I thought was just the greatest thing ever to not have to go home with dirty clothes, the machine that you swipe your card through went down between my wash and my dry. I reported it immediately, waited 30 minutes for someone to get up there, and then two more hours before the housekeeping manager offered to put my clothes in the industrial dryer in housekeeping, because no one there could fix the machine and they would have to wait for the third party vendor to come out and repair it. And maybe I'm assuming too much, but if I was working as the manager and housekeeping, and a guest was really unhappy about the laundry situation, when I returned their clothing to them, I might have maybe folded it or something, just to be nice since the guest was inconvenienced . Not tossed it in a plastic bag in a heap. But I know that not everyone thinks like that. Overall my room was really nice, and I did spend a lot of time in it so that I wouldn't wander around and be angry about all of the other things that were bothering me there. But for what this place charges per night, and the fact that it's a fairly mid-to-upper scale Hotel, it was pretty disappointing.

The regency is rather a typical hyatt hotel. It was clean and was a very busy hotel. The bathrooms were clean and they had flavoured water stand at the reception. Although i did not eat there i was told it usually takes about an hour to get your ordered food. Overall. I would give it 8/10

This hotel is an easy walk from terminal C at DFW, so if you're transiting the airport or working nearby, it didn't get any easier. The hotel validates parking so there's no need to worry about the tolls in and out of the airport. Once you step inside, a large comfortable lobby greets you. I've never had to wait long at check, and the Hyatt staff are some of the friendliest you'll find anywhere. They go the extra mile. When I called the desk wanting to change rooms because they had inadvertantly put me in a room for people with disabilities, someone meet me at the new room with a key and a voucher for the coffee shop for my trouble. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The showers are luxurious. They have a nice breakfast buffet. It's a great place to start when you're at DFW.
