We are proud to offer comprehensive medical care to the Southside of Chicago. We chose this area because we celebrate diversity in our city and in our clients choice of pets. We listen to our clients and tailor their pets’ care to their own philosophies, comfortably providing the care we can and maintaining ties with specialists at several colleges of Veterinary Medicine and other specialty referral practices.
Our multi-doctor practice provides complete medical, surgical, dental and behavioral counseling and care for our patients. We have state-of-the-art digital radiology, digital dental radiology, anesthesia and monitoring equipment and access to world-class laboratory services. Our doctors strive to increase their skills in complementary areas to further expand the level of care for our patients.

We also offer professional pet grooming, pet daycare and overnight boarding at our Stony Island location!

First visit.  I was concerned my dog had a UTI.  They were able to do a urinalysis in office the same day.  They provided a nail trim and informed me of their boarding services.  I was also able to purchase a supply of flea and tick treatment.  The doctor and staff were very helpful and professional.  I would recommend everyone to bring their pet here.

Really disappointed with the diminishing quality of care/concern over the past few years. Consistently missed issues with my pet, but at least they seemed to care and were responsive to my concerns. I no longer trust them to even achieve that level of care. If you have to stay nearby for your pet's care, this may be the best place to take them, and isn't that a shame.

This is the best animal hospital i have taken my "little" friend to. I used a couple before and can only say that if you chose to go there you will not regret. They are excellent in all respects, staff, doctors, environment, ease of making appointments and prices!

Dakota has been going to this since I have had him which i over 2 years now. Each doctor that he has had at the 53rd street location that  he has had has patience, knowledge, understanding of my concerns.  As of now he has Dr. Ogg who i am happy is familiar with the type of dog Dakota is whippet and no matter how cray cray i get sometimes over him she is right there helping and guiding me in the right direct. you can not go wrong with this clinic .

Best Vets on the Southside of Chicago and beyond. Hyde Park Animal Hospital has everything an animal owner needs be it a puppy that greatly benefit from daycare to a feline with daily medical needs for fluid therapy to the senior animal or surgery patient with extensive Rehabilitation Therapy needs. Hyde Park Animal Hospital has very much become an Oasis of Animal Care! You can't wish for any place better.
