I was new to town and defaulted here because it is very close to my apartment. Amazing vets and staff. My beloved 12 yr old dog loved them.  6 months after moving here, she had to be put to sleep and because I could not take her "home" to AZ for it, we had to go here. I was a wreck.

Everyone was very, very kind throughout the entire process. The staff explained everything when I made the appointment. The vet and the vet tech were very very kind and gentle during the euthanasia, and when I picked up her ashes, they had made a paw print in clay for me as a keepsake.

If I ever get another pet, I'm taking them here. These folks are great.

Dr. B is amazing! He really comes with the animal, our puppy loves him. He is extremely warm and knowledgeable. I'm never afraid to ask questions even if they seem silly. Brought the pup in because we thought he was sick, Dr. B said he was likely just exhausted from the trip we had just taken and didn't charge for the visit. Wouldn't take my bully anywhere else!

Exam rooms and reception areas are always super-clean — even my most timid cat is relaxed here (which has never happened at other vets, and I have the scars to prove it!). Have been coming here for a good handful of years, at this point — pro tip: Dr. Miller is hands-down the best. Most mild-mannered and gentile, soft-spoken and exceptionally engaged. Have seen most/all(?) of the other staff vets over the years… can't say I'm a fan of all (and there's a couple I'd never go to again)… but Dr. Miller's presence keeps up coming back as regular patients.

*UPDATE: JANUARY 2018*
Dr. Miller is no longer practicing at BPAH. Bumping down to three (vs. four) stars. Facility is super-clean, and remaining staff does seem very caring… they seem to (maybe?) be better with dogs vs. cats. We presently have three adopted (feline, 3-years-old) littermates, and I had an elderly cat when I first moved to the neighborhood. Not one of those four cats were remotely as at-ease with any of the three other doctors at BPAH [as they had been with Dr. Miller, and previously another fab doctor who left ~2010]. Not sure what's up with the best doctors leaving for other clinics… it's a both a little frustrating & worrisome.

Excellent, friendly staff and vets.. took my dog here for 3 years and have boarded him here several times and my dog has always been happy to meet the staff here again.. trustworthy and friendly people here!

I love the Vets there!! They do a great job caring for all the animals I bring in off the streets especially when I need a last minute urgent visit.  They  have been so accommodating for me that I don't mind paying a little more for their services. They've been wonderful with my own animal family as well.  I've been coming to them for more than twenty years.
