Had an absolutely horrible experience with this company. My wife and I normally use Uber or lyft but because we were leaving for the airport at 5am on a Saturday, we figured a taxi would be a safer bet. The driver arrived on time, which was the only positive thing about this trip. When we got in the car, he started making small talk and asking us about our careers, which led to incredibly condescending comments about the “poor quality of public education” (my wife is a junior high math teacher). She felt incredibly uncomfortable and insulted. Then he somehow got onto the topic of global warming and told us how it is just a government conspiracy and that Washington DC is trying to pull the curtain over our eyes. Then he asked me if I knew what the definition of science was (I’m a pharmacist with a bachelors in chemistry) and then proceeded to tell me why I was wrong. I am fine having constructive debates, but this was nothing of the sort. He was continually rude and would not stop talking down to us like we were children when we didn’t agree with him. We couldn’t wait to get out of the cab and it was only about a 12 minute ride. My only regret is that I didn’t write down his name (older white male in a grey Toyota sedan). I learned my lesson and I will never take a chance on this cab company again.
