Idaho central credit union has always been a good place to have a savings account an d it usually pays pretty good interest as well.  Their certificates of deposit (also known as CD's) are competitive and if you find another bank or credit union that is doing better than theirs, sometimes if you talk to the branch manager, they can match it or beat it.  I've been happy with their customer service and they just keep popping up all over Idaho.  They have over 1,000 employees and I hear they are planning on adding another 500 employees soon in the Pocatello call center.

Don’t bank here. They took money out of my savings without notifying me, ridiculous amounts. There are a plethora of hidden fees. I can’t seem to check my account without them having taken MY money away from me again.

Switched to them for 1 week!! Opted out of overdraft and everything else. The app took forever to show spending, then it says we overstaffed even though the money was in the account and got charged 3-$20 overdraft fees!?? Only got 1 reimbursed. Been with Mountain America Credit Union for 2+ years now and they are far superior to any bank I habe ever used!!

I am a local Dealership Onwer. Mountain America has been the biggest problem for us everytime we sell a car and a customer want to go and get a loan for their vehicles !. Their stuff seems like they are trained to do misrepresentation and just to confuse buyers !. As a business owner I will not send any of my business to mountain America anymore since they are not professional and all they do is put our business down as they do with another entities as well. They do money thanks to our business and customer that take their business over there but obviously there is competitors with way better rates than this bank and you can work with professional trained stuff that they do what they supposed to instead taking their time to defame other business ! I am gonna take my time to see how to shut their mouths and also I am gonna take my time to call every Credit Union in the area and make a list with the best ones rates out there so I don't have to send my business to you MR. MS. Branch Managers. Have a nice DAY !

I used to love ICCU, but in the past year, I have had a variety of issues, including their bill pay system, servers down three times in the past few months, incorrect escrow estimates, mobile check deposits, incompetent tellers and fees that I feel are not my fault if ICCU's system crashes... Honestly, I'd switch if my mortgage wasn't through here. I'm literally stuck here now because there ATM is down. Please go back to being the credit union I love.
