Started mid-month several months ago and clearly stated that I may be vacating my storage based on selling our home at any random point. Was pro-rated upon starting and based on my conversation with the management couple believed same billing would be executed upon vacating. However, when the accuality transpired, was handed a bunch of, " oh so sorry, that's why it says (blah blah blah) on ( such and such page of the contract ). We don't pro-rate when you leave." I specifically asked when I first started storing and feel there was intentional obfuscation. I would have vacated on the 31st and not the 3rd had I not bee laboring under what I feel was an intentional confusion of a frank and direct question. I understand that the responsibility to understand all aspects of the rental agreement rests with me, but if you can't ask a direct question of a person representing the company in a management position and get a forthright answer, then I will chose to take my business elsewhere in the future and recommend others to do so as well. The amount of the charge is relatively insignificant, but I feel the policy is shady an antiquated, especially considering the space will be rented within 48 hours.

Wonderful experience, GREAT customer service. I've rented a storage unit for my household items, a place to put my travel trailer and jaguar while I am purchasing land to build on. They are very friendly and courteous!

Over the last 40 years, my husband and I have rented from various storage units in Idaho, and we have had ok experiences, but our experience at Republic Storage Joplin II is superior to all. With professionalism and friendliness, Susan and Coal have helped us in every possible way. We feel very confident in the security that is provided for our unit. Thank you Republic Storage!
