I'm younger and when I started feeling pain in my left foot I ruled out the foot doctor because I thought it was only for older people. Googled 'foot pain relief' and checked out their website and went in for the free consult. lifetime gaurantee so why not!?! I can't explain why the pain started, but I can tell you that Ideal Feet helped take it away... I would recommend.

Went there like 2 years ago because I have foot pain. Got the pitch too and my mom and I got them for $800. A complete waste as the inserts have never helped my feet. Now that I look back on it, I guess the owner knew what he was doing by charging so much and not offering a refund. He got a whole lot of money and I have a piece of crap insert. Highway robbery.

I first went in to Ideal Feet because I was having trouble walking and standing following back surgery. Due to a slip up from the surgery, I have severed nerves to my ankle muscles, causing weak ankles that cause me to trip when my ankles buckle outward on uneven surfaces. In April of last year, 2009, I had an upcoming trip to New York to sing a concert in Carnegie Hall the first week of June, and wanted to be able to stand for the full length of the concert. The staff at Ideal Feet ASSURED me that THEIR system would be the answer which I sought. $500 later, yes, $500!!!!! I was worse off than when I went into their store in the first place. Did I use their supports for the concert? NO, I couldn't walk in them. Did I get a refund, Hell no!! They have a really tight "no refund" policy and for good reason, if they refunded people who got the results I did, they would be Chapter 7. I went back to the store TWO times to try to get them to honor their pledge to "make it right." The first time back, he, Don, sold me a different style of shoe. That did not help the arch supports work better. I did like that pair of shoes and have worn them. Then I returned, Don was not there, so I told the lady who waited on me that if they were not going to fix the supports or replace them, (I found out that the supports are pre-boxed and that they have NO equipment on premises to tweak them), or refund my money, could I just trade them in for another pair of shoes. At a $500 outlay, they would be the most expensive walking shoes I'd ever bought. She told me I'd have to return when Don was there. Well, after having made 3 trips into their store (I'm an older person and don't get around very well) I called him and left 3 messages which, to date, have not been returned. So, they have left me with no option but to sue them or do this review. I hate suing people, so maybe this will get him off his duff to attend to my problem. I visited a podiatrist and an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in ankles. They BOTH told me that what I was sold was of NO value to my particular problem. So my assessment is that the staff were not properly trained to evaluate all foot/walking problems, AND when faced with a situation where the supports actually caused me to have 4 falls, two of which sent me to the ER, they should WILLINGLY refund my money. If you have foot problems, please go to a licensed podiatrist or orthopedic surgeon FIRST.

Recently I began having difficulty with my right foot. I went to the store on 11/29/09. I was refitted but continue to have a problem with my right foot up into the calf area. I'm concerned about the medical knowledge of the staff and what damage may be done to my foot and leg.

Went there and got their pitch. It is about 450 bucks for these insoles. They are a cheap piece of polyurethane. That doesn't bother me to pay that much for something IF it will work. I ask them what if it DOESN'T work, will you give me a refund? They said no, we cannot return something that has been on someone else's foot. This is a LOAD of BS, as anyone with half a brain knows they have a couple bucks in the manufacturing of the insoles. Even if they can't resell it, they are out almost nothing. I will not do business here. FYI, I did have some plantar fasciitis as well. I went to RunTex and bought a nice pair of running shoes for about 100 bucks and it solved my problem. To use my wife's words, Ideal Feet has a hammer, and they treat every problem as a nail. If your problem is a bolt, they will still whack it with their "hammer". They literally have one product, and it is an rigid urethane insole.
