LOVE this store! Went for the first time yesterday and I will be back again and again. The shoes are on the more expensive side (the ones I saw ranged from about $35 - $70) but they're worth it, seriously. For fantastic customer care and high-quality products that are also super cute, I'm happy to pay what I did. I also love supporting a local store, not to mention buying cute shoes that not everyone else will have!
 
My son is 15 months and has been walking since around his first birthday. So far he's mostly worn leather, soft-soled moccasins but now that he's walking so well & even running I wanted to buy him some good shoes for wearing outside this summer on trails, playgrounds, etc. I know good shoes at this age are really important for developing feet, but I didn't know where to start with sizing, brands, what kind of soles are best, all that jazz, so I'm really glad I found this store. The employee who helped us was great with my son, measured his foot, discussed types of shoes/soles, and brought us a bunch of shoes to try. She didn't try to push me to spend more money than I was comfortable spending. I left with two adorable shoes that will last him a while (though it was tempting to buy more, I had to remind myself that at this age he'll outgrow them fast!). I will be back as soon as these ones are too small.

I used to get some bright idea that I’d get some cheaper shoes from Zappos or something. After I threw away $70 on shoes that didn’t fit right or immediately fell apart, I’m back again at Kido. I *think* I’ve finally learned my lesson. They size my kid and recommend the largest size possible that she won’t trip in. They know as well as (or maybe better) my pediatrician typical growth stages for kid’s feet and they keep a sale history to help track growth and give more informed recommendations. Every shoe I’ve gotten here my kid has worn twice as long as any other shoes I’ve purchased. I used to wince at the price tag, but I truly believed Kido has saved me money with their excellent customer service and knowledgeable recommendations.

I love this shoe store!! Super disappointed that they were completely out of shoes in size 12.5. Drove all the way up to get shoes here and left empty-handed. It really is well-stocked for little babies and toddlers — we’ve just outgrown them, I guess.

Great selection and deals on the clearance shelf. Found a great pair of shoes for my niece and an even cuter dress for half price. Love the styles and brands. My new go to place for kids shoes!
