Not only were they great but they were open on Christmas morning! They seemed a bit under staffed but they were all working hard to service everyone that was there. They made the commitment to take time from their own families on the holiday to service others. We will definitely be going there on a regular basis. I also left my wallet and the manager Sammy went out of his way to take it to the nearest bank that was open so they could contact me and tell me they found my wallet!

Food was pretty good. The service -- not so much. Long time to order. Long time to serve. Had to ask for silverware. Never offered more coffee. Long wait for check. Cashier wasn't smiling or friendly as she relieved me of my money.

The food tasted good but the service was not. Had to ask to have our order taken and waited nearly 30 minutes before food came. 🤦🏽‍♀️

This place needs to just start over with their staff. My family has been in the restaurant business for 10+ years. If the food looked this bad where we worked, we would fire the server for not making sure the food looked good, and the cook for sending out rotten lettuce and tomatoes. The tomatoes my fiance received after having to ask for them twice smelled like they dug them out of the bottom of a trash can. I took pictures of the brown wilted lettuce they put on my burger. The waitress didn't even come to the table until the manager noticed us sitting there (10 minutes or so) and got her for us. The waitress was polite but didn't care that our food was not only wrong but was disgusting and rotten. The manager took one meal off of our ticket and never apologized. We will NEVER be back. This place is a disgrace to IHOP. I've never had a problem at any other IHOP in any other town.

We are living in a motel in Lake Charles due to Hurricane Harvey. On Christmas nothing else was open to buy our Christmas meal so I went to I HOP for take out. The food I ordered was sirloin tips, mashed potatoes and corn which was placed in a plate without separators, by the time I got back to the motel both plates were scrambled. OK I let that go and tried to eat the food anyway. The sirloin tips had been microwaved to ultimate dryness, there was no gravy or any kind of moisture to go with the potatoes. I also ordered philley cheese steak sandwiches for later. Both sandwiches the meat was also microwaved and dried and tough. The next morning I attempted to bring the completely uneaten plate back to show the manager Chris whom was VERY RUDE from the start, he said he knew me I'd been there before I said no I hadn't this was my first purchase ever at this location. He then stated he couldn't give refunds and pointed to a sign on the wall for me to contact them.i asked so you're not going to do anything about this? He stated NO. I asked his name he started Chris then I asked for his last name, he refused to tell me but had nerve to ask my first and last name. Christmas was already bad for us all we wanted was a decent meal but instead we got food that was not worthy to even put a price on. What ever happened to Peace and Goodwill toward all men on Christmas? Well I guess this manager knows nothing about that. I've eaten at many restaurants in my life but this has by far the worst food ever! I don't normally complain but rudeness and unprofessional behavior was uncalled for, this guy Chris should take customer service interaction classes and change his attitude toward customers paying their hard earned money which pay his undeserved salary. Man what a arrogant LOSER!
