Well, unfortunately this was an awful experience. I arrived and was sat fairly quickly - which was great. Our assigned server stated she could take us as a table. She brought hot coffee and chocolate milk - which was also great. All was well for my first 10/15 minutes. After my aunt and grandmother arrived, 15 minutes passed and no one came to check on us. I asked the hostess if she could help us. It seemed as though our server disappeared. The awesome hostess took our drink and food orders and she was also attempting to seat people. We received no drinks/refills after another 15 minutes. We ended up just leaving. We appreciate the hostess trying. Unfortunately one person cant do it all. On another note, the floors and high chairs were sticky and gross.
Missing half of my order. Spent almost $40, didn’t get the hashbrowns for both of the combos, missing the toasts and the bacon is barely cooked. This is terrible yall needa close that place. One of the worst services.
Stopped in to grab a bite to eat now that they have the dining room available during the early afternoon. The service was excellent even though they are shorthanded. It took a little longer to get our food, but it was perfect. The emoyees are professional, caring, attentive and friendly. Will be back again!
Not a safe place to eat at all. As a woman, I was threatened with physical violence by a young male waiter today. Christian barked at me to “meet him in the parking lot whenever he gets off” because I told him he needed to get another job the honest truth because he was the worst server I’ve ever had. Never apologized for making us wait 2 hours for food and drinks. People all around us were seated after us and yet left before we even got checked on. Told the manager and host about the lack of service on two separate occurences. They kept saying the place was busy, but toward the end of our meal they were shutting the place down and there was hardly anyone left in the restaurant. After having to ask to be served, requesting sauces and napkins MULTIPLE times, and then having our checks and receipt completely messed up because Christian couldn’t bother to write anything down on his notepad. I had to teach him how to do his job and then he literally wanted to fight me despite me being a woman nearly 100 pounds lighter than him. Then, the waitress he was supposed to be shadowing was also a horrible waitress and was aggressive towards the other people I was with. I would have LOVED to tell the manager about the situation, but the rest of the staff told me he was hiding in the back to avoid one of his customers literally getting threatened by his employee. Never go here. Not safe!
Considering how busy they were and our waiter was most evidently new, the overall experience was great. ALTHOUGH my son ordered French toast and I guess it is international house of PANCAKES for a reason because the French toast was awful!! Only "egged" on one side and if there was any cinnamon we simply could not taste, smell nor see it. Lol everything else was great!
This place has seriously gone downhill since the start of the pandemic, Understandably. However at this point it starts to point at management of a restaurant. They are Not Staffed enough to handle the Volume of customers and services they offer. I Have never Been able to get someone to answer the phone there, numerous times that I have called and gone. So when you do curbside you can plan to wait 20 to 40 minutes after the time they tell you "it's ready". You will Still Have To go Inside and get your order which will be cold because it has been sitting there Since you arrived. This is not fault Of the workers but of management and the restaurant putting these expectations that they cannot meet. Stop offering services to customers that you cannot meet, that will just make customers angry.
I was frustrated people who came in and ordered after my friend and I got their food long before us. Everything did come out hot and fresh, our server was awesome and attentive, it was clean, and it was peaceful. It was just frustrating to know that we sat over an hour and 10 minutes waiting for simple uncomplicated order. I'm not sure if the server forgot to put the order in or if something happened, but it was just a senior 2 2 2, pancake plate, and a side of hashbrowns. So nothing complex. No special instructions. Aside from that it was a bit cold but I'll just bring a hoodie next time ALSO note, I DO always take into consideration short staff etc. So it isn't being unreasonable. I still left good tip, was polite, used manners etc. And I intend to go back despite portions being smaller than usual and give another chance.
My family and I came here on the way home from Fort Jackson, SC. One of our family members graduated Army Basic Training and he wanted iHop. We were sat fairly quickly, and the place seemed very clean and organized. Our server, Kyanna, was amazing! She went above and beyond to meet our needs. Our food came out good, she had a great attitude, very attentive, all while multitasking from what I could tell. Her appearance was well kept, just over all fantastic! A server like her is hard to find these days. I highly recommend anyone who comes to eat here to request her service. If we’re ever in town again, we’ll be stopping by for sure!
Beyond amazing service and amazing food. Was the best decision I have made ALL year. Everywhere else has horrible customer service but not this place!! Lavelle was amazing and had the best energy a waiter could have. We gave him a good tip but I wish I could of given him $1000 for just finally seeing someone enjoy their job and being super nice to customers at 130am on top of it. Thank you Lavelle for making our experience beyond amazing and we will be back weekly to see you!!!
Under staffed like every place you go these days. Good server . Personable and order arrived warm and was correct. Waitress was Kyanna S.Food: 4/5
