Showed up with a large party of 10 (6 young children all 6 and under) told it would be 5-10 minutes. 20 minutes later they were “waiting for a large table to open up” 10 minutes later after roughly 25 people left. I asked how much longer it would be. She informed me she didn’t know. The kitchen was so far behind they were not seating any more people for a while. I noticed half the room had empty tables. I began to walk away and inform our party of what was going on. Everyone opted to eat somewhere else. She made sure to come get the name it was under so she could “cross it off her list” as I was leaving with a car seat with infant and a 1 year old in one arm. Didn’t even offer to hold the door so I could leave. No apology for any of the inconvenience very rude hostesses. Will not return.

We showed up with a party of two and were told we would have to wait 15 minutes. The wait was 45 minutes and they kept saying that the kitchen was backed up due to three large tables in the back, but they had at least 8 open tables in the front where the could have at least sat people. We finaly got sat in the back at a table that they could have put 4 people instead of just two. They had poor planning. The girls at the front were more worried about how they broke a nail then doing there job.

We frequent IHOPS a few times a year. The IHOP in Alamosa, CO was by far a superior experience than anywhere we have ever been. The service was quick, friendly and genuine. The food was fresher and slightly more generous portions than normal. We were served quickly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was clean and very relaxed. Way to go, Alamosa crew. We were blessed by our visit!

Zero points my family took me out to breakfast with a party of twelve ,we were told they could accommodates our party. We waited close to a hour we were not sited or even acknowledged that we had not been attended. Manager and staff are rude ,do they not realize that if wasn't for customers they wouldn't have a job .They will never get our business again .

Honestly, this experience started out five stars, the restaurant was clean and our hostess and waitress were pleasant and engaging, which was a great start to a dinner that unfortunately turned into a disaster. The food was slightly delayed, but no issue, the waitress explained that they had an issue with the tickets but she made sure the coffee was full and we were well informed. The food came and it was very good, well cooked and flavorful, about half way through his omelette, my brother stumbled upon a hair inside the melted cheese of his omelette. Again, unfortunate but not a deal breaker as this kind of thing happens. The final straw was the disgusting way the manager Heidi dealt with the situation. The waitress called her over to examine the situation. She looked and with no apology pulled the plate and stated that she would credit the omelette off of the bill, as she was walking away, she paused and said, “actually since you’ve eaten more than half of the omelette, I will only credit half of the omelette from the bill.” At that point I stopped her and informed her that my brother didn’t ask for a hair food. She then responded that fine, she’d credit the entire plate. She returned shortly after and slid the bill in front of my brother and said, “I removed the entire omelette from your bill, I hope you enjoyed it.” This was said in a tone that I was frankly shocked came from her mouth, she is a representative of the food service industry and IHOP and I cannot believe she gets away with this kind of behavior. I’d recommend revisiting some basic customer service before there is no turning back.
