Lovely place for a swim or a picnic.

It's a beautiful park with some great swimming holes and even a tree to jump out of! The gazebo is really neat, and there are bathrooms and a big parking lot. Ever since a park host has been staying there, this place has improved greatly. It's a popular place to visit, have a picnic, play Frisbee golf, and cool off during the summer heat!

Pack a lunch and bring your swimming suit in the summer. Also bring a bag for all the fresh blackberries that you find in July and August. My kids love this spot.

I was the park host for Nov. To middle of Dec. Sadly., some people had to steal park equipment and host's personal property. Rangers. Bekah and Adam blamed host for problems and forced host to leave early putting her in a very unsafe. Situation without any concern my welfare, I am a disabled senior lady and veteran and was treated terrible by both of them. Host worked harder than any other host ever. If one disabled senior lady and take care of whole park on my own what do we need with rangers who visit park once in a while at their digression and so nothing but waste states "your money" ? I singled handled cleaned and maintain the park better than anyone yet I must have done too good of a job because both rangers kicked me to the curb as fast as they could not to make them look bad for not doing their job. park never looked better, shame on rangers above for being so unfair, clearly host made them look bad for not caring about park and the best host they ever had. I will never trust both of these rangers as I caught them in many lies. Neither should be rangers as they do not represent OPRD basis standards , rules and respect for park volunteers which makes their jobs possible , without volunteers neither would be able to take all the credit for volunteers hard work,
