My husband and I were so welcomed and overjoyed to become a part of this community! The staff here organize so many relevant groups and events for all ages, and are more than happy to meet and guide you on your faith journey- wherever you are at. I have not met as open and engaged of a community anywhere else.

It's the best church ever and I wouldn't want to go to any other church. Everyone is so close and I have so much fun with 9 of my closest friends. I love this church so much, it's like a second home to me. I met some of my best friends. Going on mission trips and confirmation retreats are absolutely amazing. I am so glad my parent chose this church to go to. Everyone is so close with each other, whether it's a 3 year old to a 50 year old and older. I am going to this church for as long as I can. Although I am not a big fan about some of the changes to the church, I will forever love Immanuel Lutheran Church.

I've been going as a visitor for almost two years now.  What describes this church?  Active, happy, intelligent, open, caring, and talented.  I probably could come up with many more.  What are the drawbacks?  I have not found any yet, and for a church that is surprising.  This church has a full span of generations, not just "old" people.  It is very active, I am going with them on a backpacking trip this summer.  You can challenge them on faith issues (there was a class on this) where you could question Everything.  Try it, you'll be glad you did, as I am.

Update - The Backpacking Trip was awesome.
