I recommend him for immigration especially asians

Very rude and inconsiderate not a people person at all. Called to inquire about a process and what can be done....the over all outcome was and I quote "a lot of people don't have the money; and if you don't have the money I don't have the time". Never had I stated financials just simply inquired about a service to get a feel for customer service and whether I wanted to proceed or not. Definately will not be utilizing this lawyers services.

We hired Peter G. Smith to file for a marriage based green card. We met with him three times to prepare our case and everything went as he said it would. We got our green card one week after our marital interview. He took all the stress out of the process, and this enabled me to focus on school and other responsibilities. I would recommend him as an immigration lawyer.

I was one the very first immigration clients of Mr. Smith back in the mid-1990s. I was a postdoc researcher seeking cures and treatments for arthritis and related autoimmune diseases. We filed for a NIW green card, and it was approved. In submitting my application, Mr. Smith helped me focus on the most relevant evidence we could use. He helped write and edit the support letters, and was always accessible to me to answer questions or provide feedback during the process. In the end, my whole family received green cards and we later became US citizens.

I was very impressed by Mr. Smith's abilities and performance. He is highly knowledgeable and skilled at his job. Importantly, and somewhat unusually for a lawyer, he is crystal honest. He will tell you exactly what the strengths and weaknesses of your application are, and what is your chance of success. This is rather different from other immigration lawyers who will give you a promise you want, charge you a lot of  money, and then fail to deliver results.

Since my case, Mr. Smith has handled NIW applications for numerous other scientists, with steady success. I have full confidence in him as an immigration lawyer.  When selecting an immigration lawyer, it is important that be able to collaborate and plan the case together while paying reasonable fees. I was satisfied on all these fronts when working with Mr. Smith.

I was pregnant with a child when I began to search for an immigration lawyer for my husband to help keep our family together. I contacted Mr. Smith and he helped us get all the complex evidence together to prove we had a “real marriage.” All this had to be submitted to the Department of Homeland Security for us to be screened for the green card. While everything was pending, Mr. Smith got my husband a work authorization (EAD) card and he was then able to get a social security card and drivers license. Mr. Smith the prepared us for the marital interview. We knew exactly what to expect, how to act, and what additional evidence to bring. We went through the interview and then got our green card a few months later. Mr. Smith was a great attorney for us, and came to visit us at our apartment two times to help us get everything together. He answered all our questions and made sure we had our case lined up for approval — so even though we were just married — without all the things the DHS wants to show a “real marriage,” we got our case approved on the first try. Mr. Smith, your the best! Thank you so much, for helping my family to stay together :) You are a blessing. You fight really hard for your clients.
