Training center provides excellent dance, tumbling, and cheer-leading instruction. Single classes starting at $15 for drop-ins or $50 monthly.
In Motion Training Center in Hemet, California, is owned by Nick Nicholls and Tracy Smith. Nick is also the Tumbling Director and Tracy is the Creative Director. IMTC is a high-energy, high-impact style dance studio that offers many styles of dance, as well as Tumbling and Cheer.
Focusing on fun with emphasis on technique and showmanship, they perform original dance pieces for ages 18 months and up. To keep everyone moving and progressing at a steady pace, classes for 5 years old and under have also been standardized.
While in her years of dance training, Tracy experienced many different studios and has drawn some of the best aspects from each of them. The outcome being that In Motion Training Center offers their instructional services in an equitable format for all their students; students are held to high standards and are expected to display good sportsmanship, cheering on fellow students; IMTC’s programs are challenging; they discourage cliques as they undermine teamwork. They also listen to their students in an effort to accommodate their personal goals into the studio’s curriculum. Their high standards and qualities make their studio, IMTC, stand out from other studios.
Many IMTC students are on an unlimited pricing package; some students take as many as 20 classes per week. Tracy and Nick have devised a pricing structure that makes it affordable for families whose student is taking multiple classes or with siblings enrolled. Conveniences, such as microwave, snackbar, coffee, etc., are available.
IMTC is very busy. Their schedule includes not only their studio events but also activities in the community. These activities lead to performance opportunities for both team and recreational students. They have participated in events such as spirit week, anniversary celebration for our community, Halloween Haunted Maze and Performance, local Christmas parade, Christmas performance, Christmas/Holiday Party for their students and their families, Imagine (their annual recital), various performances around town, and all their team events. Needless to say, IMTC students stay very busy with the studio and community involvement.
IMTC was developed as a response to the need for quality youth activities and fitness in the San Jacinto Valley, encompassing also the cities, townships, and communities around Hemet and San Jacinto: Valle Vista, Idyllwild, Homeland, Romoland, Nuevo, Perris, Menifee, Moreno Valley, Beaumont. At a further distance, they serve Canyon Lake, Temecula, and as far North as Yucaipa in San Bernardino.
