As is the trend with most malls these days, this mall is showing serious signs of weakening physical retail. A big part of this mall is actually currently filled with church space! Yep, Church space in a mall! The Sears store is about to close at the end of June. This mall is clean, but there isn't a lot to come here for anymore. Sadly, mall shopping is quickly disappearing from the American landscape it seems. And this mall is no exception to that trend.

Always liked this mall. The changes coming are depressing. Facelift is all that's needed. Sometimes change isn't good. Time will tell. Enjoying the mall!!!

I went to the Wells Fargo Bank on the site of the Independence Mall. Being the "talker", which I am INDEED, I am always conversing with whoever is assisting me. And I have ALWAYS had a pleasureable visit each time, though I may not see the same Teller each time I have visited.

I’ve been to much better malls. Food court is severely lacking. But it’s all we have in Wilmington for an indoor mall. I like to come here to walk when the weather is unfavorable.

We love going to this mall!!! It's great when the weather is really hot outside (like most of the year) and I can do all my shopping inside. Lots of nice stores inside.
