Literally the worst roads to exist in the entire United States. I have had road trips all across the united states in many weather conditions, and this by far, takes the cake. I have never felt as close to death than I did when driving on this pathetic excuse of a highway. Your state should buy more snowplows and salt instead of wasting their money on overpriced police cars
I ran my business out of Indiana for a while I will say there office was ok. State troopers are honest guys trying too there job just like us. Roads in major areas really bad why so long hmm well it comes down too budget. 70 E-W needs too be 3 lanes too Ohio and too Indy. And there are some other concerns they are making a effort on I-65 but why do they put in concrete and not just make it tarmac and pave it every few years I don’t know. It’s because the budget is as it is and they like there hand outs and it takes someone with cariama too know the problem and power and money too come and change it. I hope it’s me because I would address and change these things.... Let’s predict it cost for 67 miles 1 billion ok too make it 3 lane I think it’s worth it. It would make Indianapolis a mecacenter and also that would make more ease for rest areas. That’s 15million per mile on low end.
Shame on you guys! Whoever is in charge or responsible for the conditions of the roads in this state! This is a mockery of people tax money.Year by year throwing fillings here and there over a road which is too decayed for any temp fix.Roads are mirroring the situation of a place state county country and when you get to Indiana is worse than a THIRLD WORLD country but what we do PEOPLE know right!
I 94 and I 80 in northwest Indiana NEVER get salted until there are MULTIPLE accidents! You have ONE job, DO IT so I can safely get to and from work. The minute I cross into Indiana from Illinois the roads are terrible. It's funny that Illinois can plow and salt the roads. We just got a 10 cent increase in gas taxes, why aren't we using it to keep people safe. I hope some of the accident victims sue the state of Indiana. Obviously whoever is running the highway department has no idea how to run it!
2 people were moved when they had problems, no transfer request, no apply for the position. 2 people were denied the transfer, from a job applied for and recieved...received... they never were transfered to the new position. But their was a person above them that once that transfer was known, was allowed to abuse, degrade, punish, humiliate, call names with racist comments to these two people. If males and females were treated the same, then he would not have been able to treat his employees in this manner.
Horrible road conditions in multiple locations. Road construction areas that are an absolute mess. Today I had 2x hour-long waits on I74, one on each side of Indianapolis, and nobody in the DOT office seems to care. Drivers should avoid entering this state at all costs or add several hours to your drive and ensure you have a full gas tank for parking on the interstate.
The split speed limits are unsafe, the road looks in good shape but they're quite rough. Take some of the revenue you gain from the split speed limits and use it to fix your roads. 70 west in particular.
License plate 63265 blew threw a red light while talking on his phone on on emerson an 465!....im sorry but absolutely unacceptable....good to know where are taxes are goin apparently there above the law when in reality they should follow to a T being in a state paid for vehicle!!!!
This should be indiana department of mismanagement and playing on your phone
We have terrible roads, and they just place cones all along the highway just to not do anything. Whoever is in charge needs to be fired
