I’ve been going here since childhood. As an adult, I’ve seen Dr. Mishra on and off. However! The business office will only allow 15 minute appointments (which the going rate for those 15 minutes is $260.00), so basically you only should come here if you wants meds, because all you do is spew off symptoms for 7.5 minutes, the dr. Types for 14 minutes, and the last minute of the 15, you get a thank you and goodbye with eye contact. I need to see him again, but apparently every 3 years you’re treated as a new patient so they can collect the “new patient” fee. I was also told I have an almost $400 balance from 5 years ago that I have no memory of. The balance was comprised of a $225 appointment fee, an $89 collection fee even tho there was never any communication, notification, nor was this bill sent to a collection agency..... in fact the only reason I was notified about the fee was because I called and I was told to bring cash or use my card. So I’m not sure what this “collection” fee is for seeing as how I’ve done all the work and have to pay them. They also told me there was a $75 no show fee for an appointment I never had. This place is NOT about mental health/restoration, it’s simply and ONLY about profiting off the patient in any and all ways possible. Find somewhere else to go!

I'd love to give a more comprehensive review, but I cannot actually get ahold of anybody to become a patient. Over the past few days, I've left 2 voicemails, filled out the email contact form, and called during business hours no fewer than 7 times. Today, at 4 PM I finally got through to a person only to find out that it was the overflow line and the "new patient group" had already left for the day. Nobody answers the phone and nobody returns voicemails. It's a shame, as I've read some good things about the psychiatrists and therapists there. On the other hand, maybe I've dodged a bullet. Anyplace where customers are begging to give business but cannot either doesn't need more business or has a huge disconnect between the office staff and the counselors. I wonder if the doctors there know that patients can't get through? I guess I'll try someplace else...

If you need psychiatric care, I don't recommend IHG. Your needs will not be met even when they are dire. I ended up leaving this year (2017) because I only got 15 minute appointments from the business office, and when I requested more time, it was denied, even when I had to make an emergency appointment. This surprised me because as a previous patient in 2013-2014, I always got an hour with my doctor. There has clearly been some management shuffling around since then, and to my detriment. Bottom line: business office needs a serious overhaul, and not the care providers. There is only so much I can accomplish with psychiatric services in 15 minutes. I loved my doctor very much, and thought he was great in the year that I was a patient. I really would have liked to keep seeing him. But scheduling made it impossible for me.

Was prescribed medications that I was not properly diagnosed to receive, became dependent on them and addicted to them; also was taken off of an antidepressant cold turkey causing me to go into delirious, seizure-like symptoms that lasted for days, only to find out after that that that medication was one that should NEVER be taken off that abruptly. Very negligent psychiatrist. Also, extremely uncomfortable and creepy vibes from male therapist I saw as a young teenage girl. Do NOT recommend this facility, very shady.
