I love this salon. When I moved to Florida it took me 5yrs to find a hairdresser that knew how to actually handle my hair. I am half black and half Portuguese so I have a unique hair type and it is very difficult to handle but Fauna is great and she not only wowed me, she was as personable as well. The whole staff is great and I can just call and an appointment is always available. It is a clean and upscale environment and I love Fauna which makes me come back time and time again.

Okay, I read ALL of these reviews and the negative ones have really made me upset!  I would say to anyone who is really looking for a good salon to please take into consideration that ANYONE can post a review and there are lots of jealous people and salons out there that will do anything to negate the competition!
I went to Telsie when I moved here and that was long before she had her own shop.  I know how hard she worked and how long it took!  It did not come easy!  I have always had her on a short list of people I really admire.  She is very intelligent, motivated, talented and always planning the best outcome of things.  It would not be POSSIBLE for anyone with that mindset to operate in the fashion described in some of these reviews.  It is just NOT in her nature!
I have been a customer of Telsie's for over fifteen years and not an easy one to get a positive result from either (my hair is thin and very fine).  When she does my hair it looks great and I get compliments.  I have learned that I can tell her what my ideas are and she will tell me when I am wrong and I always look better when I take her advice.
I was the first client she had when she was opening her shop because she was kind enough to do my hair before she even officially opened.  She was also kind enough to come to my home to cut my husband's hair when he was too ill to come to her and at no extra charge!
The ladies who work with her are all professionals.  She only keeps the best.  I notice Telsie when she is doing my hair that her eyes are always aware of not only me, but everything that is going on in her shop!  She does not tolerate unprofessionalism and the reviewer who wrote that the shop is unclean must have had on dirty glasses because that place is always spotless!
At this salon you can be sure that you will receive latest techniques and the best hair care because Telsie makes sure that they all stay up to date even if it means traveling far to take a new class.
By now if you have read this far, you have probably figured out that I consider Telsie my friend and you would be right!  I also consider all of the other ladies friends too.  I do!  This is a pleasant, relaxing, professional atmosphere to come and be assured that you will receive the best possible results and the price is fair and below a lot other salons in the area.

Poor customer service: I tried to set up an appointment with the salon to get my hair done.  I text the stylist a few times and even called, but the stylist never returned my call.  I guess they don't want my business, but I found someone else that did.
