In my other review of a bakery that sells cookies, being cookie crumble, I want to say this bakery's cookies does not fall short. The environment is not the most pleasant. The space being small, dim in light, and a bit clustered doesn't make it seem welcome or attractive. I went to this bakery becuase my friends introduced me to them. The moment I opened the door I was hit with warmth, sweetness, butter, milk and joy. It had all the factors that tingle my nose. I got three vegan cookies: vegan birthday cake, vegan chocolate chuck, vegan double chocolate chuck. Their option are quite large which is good, but they don't often change the types of cookies. That does not change the fact that all the options are delicious. To have both vegan and non-vegan option is pretty cool too. The price isn't bad either. The cookies taste absolutely delicious . Compare to cookie crumble, I think these cookies are on the less sweeter side. It is perfect sweet, not overly sweet where you need to constantly drink water or milk. The are not as buttery or large in size as the cookies made in cookie crumble. However, they are crunchy, very warm, and soft. I love the crunch parts the most. It is so good that I'm thinking of going back to get more.
Frustrating to track our way over here in the rain find a sign up on their door “be back in an hour” at 920pm. Yea we didn’t come back.
I went here and spent close to $60 on cookies to take back to Texas because we used live here and loved this place. We also got cookies and ice cream to eat there. We told the nice gentleman making our order to not cover them as we were going to sit and eat the counter that had stools out. He was totally cool. We began eating and 10 min in a little chick who claimed to be the shift leader right below manger as she said decided to yell at us saying we don’t offer dine in. Mind you we just spend money and we’re half way through our food and she tried kicking us out. All the customers in the store sided with us including some of the employees around her. We had ZERO interaction with her before this. She was extremely rude. She should be fired and should not be in customer service. She then threatened to call the police. At which point I told her to call the police because we did nothing wrong and the cops would prob sit and eat with us as I knew almost all the force in that area. The cookie and ice cream was amazing . She was rude. She was also entertainment and a reminder to why I move out of nyc. She had some personal issues going on most likely because nobody should be that mean and rude to a paying customer.
Love the cookies but the management has no idea how to run a shop. Routinely they lock their doors without notice, because they “ran out of cookies” & need time to prepare. During these times, they’ll have some cookie flavors but won’t sell you what they have. Why? Who knows. Also at least once, someone on the staff left the doors to their ice cream open. So all the ice cream melted. I was told they were waiting for it to re-freeze before selling. THIS IS NOT HOW ICE CREAM WORKS.
Wish I could give this place 10 stars. My girlfriend and I came in just to try a cookie and the customer service just blew us away. The staff was so kind and knowledgeable and we left feeling like we had just made new friends. Genuinely the best experience I’ve had at any food establishment.
5 Stars!!!!! Stellar service with premium product. Me & my wife came by last night and the gentleman with glasses blessed us. We returned the next day for the 6 pc vegan cookies . They serve them hot too!
After a heavy dinner wanted to have some dessert but it was too late and didnt have much of option. So just to kill the craving we googled and came to this cookies place. They serve warm cookies of different flavor and they were so good. Couldnt eat more than one as we were full but will be back to try more of them. Cookies lover should totally try this place.
If you are looking to curb your sweet tooth, this is the place to do it! The cookies are chewy, gooey and soft. Also the ice cream is a great on the cookies. The place itself has a good vibe and the staff is very friendly.
Warm fresh cookies at 2am? Yes please, good quality not a bad price, was great. I understand that late night shift can be hard but could improve the attitude for the service.
My favorite cookie place. Always buying six pac box. I’m not a big fan of sweeter, but insomnia cookies is somethning special. Rainyday, chocolate chunk cookie and coffee is perfect matching.
