After calling twice I finally got through to a real person. From there I was forwarded to Ron. Once again nothing but a message. After leaving a message I heard back from Ron. Calling back twice I got nothing but a machine again. Finally Ron answers his phone. After telling Ron a detailed description of my scope of work, where I was doing it and the tools/material involved he acted as if I was doing him a favor trying to do business with him. His indifference was striking. 
After me telling him everything about the job he said he needed all the information I had just told him. He then stated because I was involved in certain areas of work he thought I was in (which I had just explained I wasn't) it was going to be a long process to find coverage. 
I explained to him I wasn't doing things he thought I was and asked if he he'd listened or written down the scope of work I had described. Ron stated matter of tacitly he hadn't. I told him I was a customer who seemed like he had to beg for his business to which he never said a word. 
I can't remember a time when I actually wrote any sort of review but this Ron character makes this review necessary. He didn't show one iota of caring for a customers input much less his business. Time to show some initiative and energy and do your job Ron.

Insurance Planning Alternatives is a great company to work for. I’ve enjoyed my time with the company and I really like the laid back atmosphere. This review is from someone who is able to perceive everyone on a professional prospective. It’s a small business atmosphere and they are all very chill and relaxed. Both Greg and Nikki keep a very professional, but cheery work environment. They thoroughly work out their clients issues/problems if and when they have any. They are great with following up with their clients. The other agents in the office are also cheerful, which makes the overall work environment a fun place to be in. I enjoy my job and love to communicate with the clients and see them leave happy.

Applicants applying for any job here are treated very rudely over the phone which is very unprofessional. They come off as "Too Strong" towards applicants.The smiles on there website are not an indication that they will be nice over the phone. I feel this company needs to be more welcoming to newcomers and treat any new applicant with respect and dignity.

Nikki at IPA knows more about our healthcare options than anyone I have ever met.  She is, hands down, the health insurance guru of the Western Slope.  Health insurance is hard; she makes it bearable.
