My wife had originally had an appointment at 9 a.m. She was contacted the day before that her appointment was changed to 1 pm. We arrived a few minutes early and waited until 1:15 to be taken to a patient exam room. Once there a person took the copies of CT scans we were told to bring. Then we waited...and waited...and waited for the Dr. to come in. We could hear him in the hallway talking to others and entering other rooms. We waited for over an hour before he came in the room. He had no idea we had brought copies of CT scans and had not reviewed them. He said he would order a new CT scan then excused himself from the room. He was in the room talking to us for MAYBE a full minute before he left. After he left his medical assistant came in and ushered us out, telling us we would receive a call to schedule a CT scan. The next day she recieved a message from her pharmacy that a medication that the Dr. had ordered was ready. Since the doctor had not mentioned any medication to us, I contacted the Dr. office and was told that the prescription was not for my wife and it was a mistake. NOT Quality care!!! The medical assistant told us that she would request an authorization for the CT Scan from my wife's insurance. When we were contacted by the hospital the next day to schedule the CT scan, we were told there was not an authorization. We scheduled the scan for the following Thursday, assuming the authorization would be completed by then. This did NOT happen...the clinical notes for for the visit were not completed until the following Tuesday and the insurance company did not receive them until after the scheduled appointment. This was not a very good first impression for us. Long wait....extremely short visit with the Dr......mistake made on a prescription that was ordered for her that wasn't hers and not getting information to the insurance company on a timely basis. All this has made my wife very uncomfortable receiving treatment from this Dr. and will not schedule a follow-up visit.
One of the most efficient and caring medical offices I’ve ever visited. I groaned inside when I first stepped in the door because the checking line was long. It moved quickly and soon I was seated. I had just enough time in the chair to complete the paperwork before I was called to the exam. I met friendly efficient people at every step. There literally was no waiting! Dr. Paul Allegra viewed and explained my X-rays, then took me through some diagnostic movements. One reaction was definitive and he immediately explained the care plan. Moments later, someone else entered with the appliance I needed. I was free to check out the, and that that desk, I was asked which PT location I preferred. My orders were sent there, and I was finished in record time. I was quite impressed!
First Impressions: The hospital met the basic expectations of cleanliness and organization, with the typical clinical atmosphere of a medical facility. The reception staff managed their duties efficiently, creating a smooth process for arriving patients. Wait Times: My experience regarding wait times was positive, with my appointment commencing shortly after the scheduled time. This efficiency in scheduling is commendable in a busy hospital setting. Staff Professionalism and Communication: The professionalism and communication from the hospital staff were notable highlights. Their attentive and caring approach significantly contributed to a supportive patient experience. Orthopedic Specialist Interaction and Treatment: My interaction with the orthopedic specialist, however, was markedly less satisfactory. The consultation felt rushed, with a reliance on predetermined notes and a lack of engagement with my personal injury history and concerns. This approach culminated in a diagnosis and treatment plan that didn't fully address the nuances of my condition or the specific cause of my pain. Post-visit, I received an update through the hospital's app indicating that the specialist had discussed all potential issues related to the steroid shot with me, which was not the case. This discrepancy between the documented consultation and the actual conversation is concerning, especially when considering informed consent for medical procedures. Moreover, the assurance that the steroid shot would yield noticeable improvement by the next day proved overly optimistic. My condition remains unchanged, underscoring a disconnect between the treatment's promised efficacy and the actual outcome. Overall Experience and Conclusion: While the initial aspects of my visit were handled well by the hospital staff, the consultation with the orthopedic specialist left much to be desired in terms of personalized care and effective communication. The lack of detailed discussion about my injury and the inaccurate documentation of our conversation highlight areas for improvement in patient engagement and treatment transparency. The experience has prompted me to seek a second opinion, as it's crucial for medical professionals to listen to and accurately document patient interactions and treatment plans. Feedback like this is vital for healthcare providers to refine their approach to patient care, ensuring that future consultations are both thorough and transparent.
The front desk staff is always kind and patient even though there is only one person trying to check everyone in. I never had to wait long to see the doctor or PA. Everyone was kind. My surgery went smoothly and my recovery has been long but it’s going well. They have helped me through this long ordeal. Never had issues after surgery as far as any set backs. I couldn’t have asked for a more experienced group of people to take care of me.
Wonderful staff! Dr. Myrin is wonderful! Blair Terry is great! This office makes you feel welcome and is very courteous.
Dr. Doss and his team were efficient, reviewed my X rays in advance of my appointment, and super friendly and patient centered. It was one of the best patient experiences I’ve had and I highly recommend this physician and clinic.
Was pleasantly surprised. I had 2 separate appointments but both issues were attended too on the 1st visit making 2nd appointment no longer needed. I was slightly disappointed with the lack of explanation of the brace applied to my knee. No information as to when to wear the brace or how to remove, adjust, or, put the brace on. I had 3 or 4 different office personnel put my brace on but, not one addressed the procedure of utilizing the brace properly.
Very kind and professional staff. Dr. Myrin always takes time with you to talk and explain details. Great one on one interaction, as well as being highly trained as a surgeon. I highly recommend him.
Every one of the team has been very cordial and concerned with my health and takes their time to listen and explain and suggest. They are comforting and kind Dr. Myrin did a great job and I would recommend him.
It has been a good experience overhaul. I would have loved to have the ablation earlier. I feel like 52 days is too long, because Afib has caused me to be very uncomfortable. The girls in the Dr.’s office have been very kind & helpful. I look forward to January 19th when they do the ablation!
