An authentic, modern coffee house with a nod to a sort of paired down, simple approach to serving coffee and espresso, but deliciously rich and creamy lattes and espressos. It was brisk when we went and we seemingly got the last two seats, surrounded by hip 20 somethings all on devices enjoying their own favorite espressos. I personally enjoyed a straight latte that felt velvetty and smooth with no need for any add-ins that one might find at a chain coffee shop...

Leader in third wave coffee that still has great roasts. This location is quick and the service is great. It’s not a spot I would stay to get some work done because there’s a lot of foot traffic.

I stopped by here as a tourist visiting Millennium Park.  My friend was raving about Intelligentsia, so we paid a visit. It was not an original idea! The place was packed.  Unfortunately, there wasn't room for us to sit down, so we had to get our drinks to go.  I had a pour over of the Burundi.  The barista was professional and friendly.  They knew what they were doing, for sure, and took their craft seriously.  Was it worth the expense? Well, it was a really good cup of coffee.  You can decide yourself.

Great work spot for several reasons. 1) the music is low key 2) the overall noise level is conversational 3) there are areas to stand and work as well as sit 4) staff is friendly but not intrusive 5) coffee is obviously fantastic... it's Intelligentsia for goodness sake. 6) there are bathrooms 7) room temp is comfortable even though it is darn cold at the moment. Enjoy!

Definitely a high end coffee place. A normal coffee is not nearly as costly. A matcha latte can set you back $7. However, I must say that it was good and flavorful. Would recommend giving yourself sometime to wait in line as well. Should definitely stop by if your a coffee enthusiast
