A lovely setting and our interest in aviation made the plaques extra interesting. This is a great place for a bit of exercise that doesn't feel like exercise.

Address is wrong. Search for Allingham drive on the GPS. It is outside of Atchison.

The International Forest of Friendship is a wonderful place--peaceful yet inspiring, rooted in the earth yet linked to some of our greatest adventures in and above the sky. The pathways and lawns of the Forest are well worth an hour, or an afternoon. The Moon Tree and astronauts' circle remind us of Kansas' motto--to the stars, through difficulties. I look forward to coming back to this living, growing memorial to the world history of aviation and aerospace.
