Story

This free museum located in the terminal building of Burke Lakefront Airport celebrates the amazing history of women in aviation & space. The museum also houses the Joan L. Hrubec Aviation Education Center and the Fay Gillis Wells Research Center.

The museum is relatively small, but is free, and very informative and inspiring. The stories of these ladies deserve to be told! The exhibits are fascinating and they've done what they can with the small space they have. I gave it four stars because I know there's room to grow and I really hope this museum does!

This is not a museum. This is a hall with a few vintage things. Unless you HAVE to go to this building, don't.

Hard to figure out the parking and other than a couple signs pointing in the general direction it isn't easy to find. Even the sign for the museum inside faces inside the airport.
