Excellent exhibit on flying dinosaurs that's going to be there for a while. Fun flight simulator where you flap your arms to make one fly on the screen in front of you. What a crack up! Saw the Wade Precious Stones exhibit as well. Beautiful gems! They even have a Zack Bruell restaurant! Museum admission was $15 adult, $12 for my daughter with her college ID.

Kid loves it, especially the dinosaurs!! Become a member for discount parking and free planetarium shows✨ ((UPDATE: CLOSED)) CHECK OUT THE NEW EXHIBIT: Creatures of Light (see pics)!! The planetarium shows can be a bit dense, but they have a variety for all ages. Check with the staff for the age-appropriateness of each show. In addition, after many years of attending, we finally discovers the basement! There are quite a few cool animal/wildlife exhibits, as well as a kindergarten-themed learning room with toys, microscopes, small specimens, etc.

As of the time of this writing I have a 12 year old daughter who has been going to the Natural History Museum since she was in the stroller. If you've been there, you know why I rated this five stars... If you haven't been, you need to go. It's a fantastic Museum and Cultural Center in Cleveland. No matter how many times you go you'll find things you didn't notice on your last trip, parking is not cheap, food is expensive, and I suggest you keep your kids away from the gift shop :-) unless you want to buy a $27 stuffed animal. Go to the Natural History Museum you won't regret it.

It's like some other planet, away from the present. Those million years old pieces of bones arranged scientifically, physiologically and periodically to make an extinct giant shape who used to rule over the world would make you think about something unreal but true. They'll let you touch those million year old pieces (supervised), some beautiful corals and metals, it's like touching the past, it's like touching beyond the border. Ever felt the thrill? Ever walked pass an old building and heard what's it saying? Those structures would talk to you. You'll hear in your head 'slow down humans, if the nature can take ME down, you're nothing'... And BTW, don't miss the planetarium show. It's amazing!

I have not been to this museum in years! I enjoyed my recent visit. So many things to see, lots of hands on exhibits for the kids! And they have a nice little area in the back with real animals - eagles, otters, owls, coyotes, and so much more. If you haven't been in awhile, check it out!
