I enjoyed this place quite a lot. I enjoyed seeing the history behind rock and roll. There was a lot to look at and some of the artifacts were really cool to see. There were also videos as well as music accompanying some exhibits which I found enriched the experience. There were a lot of places to sit down. The building itself was interesting too, a lot of floors with escalator + elevator access with different exhibits to explore. The short 12 minute film that played in the theatre was a bit loud (which apparently means I'm too old according to one of the shirts in the gift shop) but it was probably one of my favourite parts of this place. The food in the cafe was good too. I would want to go back in a few years to see how it changes with new inductees.

The Hall itself is outstanding, although there's always going to be someone who feels like their favorite artist or genre has gotten short shrift. However, I want to comment on the staff, who were the friendliest, most enthusiastic and helpful of any museum staff I've ever encountered. They are doing Cleveland proud. Their actions illustrate how vital the Hall is to the city, and what a crucial role it played in the renewal of Cleveland. They are clearly happy to work there, and feel lucky to be able to do so. I shudder to think how much worse an experience visiting this place would be if it were located in NYC of L.A. Thanks for making the HUMAN interactions just as great as the musical ones!

Thoroughly enjoyed my second visit and recommend it for anyone who loves music.Wonderful place to brush up on your rock and Roll music history, unfortunately do not go during spring break if you want it to be easier to take in the sounds. Most of the exhibits turn on and off as you approach and while everything works great looks beautiful it’s very hard to hear everything because the proximity of some exhibits are too close- one exhibit was hard to hear for the noise from the other exhibit over rode the other because they were all on at once.So other than that it is terrific entertaining and educational. I will surely come back a third time since now I am a member! The gal who wrote up my membership gave us a free cd to listen to as we drove home-( Just a mere 8 hour drive)Thanks for being awesome!

This place is really well done. Only floors 1 thru 3are open. I believe the other 2will open at the end of May. They do a really great job introducing all of the pioneers of rock, all of the blues legends like Muddy Waters, Lead Belly and the like. The first floor is laid out in pretty much chronological order and hits all of the rock genres, like punk, grunge, even hip hop. The second floor is more oriented to record labels and guitars etc and the third level is all about the induction process. Overall we spent about 2.5 hours. If you read every single thing, and participate in all of the interactive displays you will be in here all day. Also not really kid friendly. Lots of reading and artifacts behind glass, hard for little kids to be entertained by. Even saw some teenagers who looked bored out of their minds! This was one of the main things I wanted to do in Cleveland, and I am glad it didn't disappoint.

Plenty of memorabilia and artifacts to go along with many exhibits covering the history of Rock and roll. The Hall of Fame building is 6 stories high. You should give at least one whole day to see everything. There are several movies/videos to watch in various theatres. Extra space is set aside to cover the legacies of groups like the Beatles and Rolling Stones. A restaurant is available as well as a gift shop to help this non-profit organization!
