We have lived in Radcliff for 41 years.  Our first heat pump (a Trane) lasted 20 years.  Not sure what company installed it.  Overall it was a decent unit, but we weren't sure if service calls were always necessary or if the company we used at the time wasn't quite honest or reliable.  In 1997 we bought a new, larger and much improved Trane heat pump from Ireland.  This has been an excellent unit, and the minimal routine service performed/required as suggested was always done efficiently and at a reasonable price by Ireland.   We have no personal ties to this company.  We can attest that the company employees we've had contact with were always courteous, professional and honest.

Very arrogant and unprofessional. *****UPDATE**** on 10/14/2016 I had a phone conversation with the owner of the company and we addressed my grievance. He seemed to be genuinely concerned and apologized for the incident.

The company seems nice enough. Very busy (dont expect same day service) but nice enough for a small town business. (I have to admit I dont like living in a house with no central air and therefore found being placed on their wait list to be a little difficult).
Anyway, not sure how much it is supposed to cost to keep central air going in a house that was just built in 2008 but so far (for the record) I've paid Ireland Heating & Cooling $200.00 (with an additional $75.00 service fee) to repair the outside compressor (unit wouldnt turn on) on 18 June 2016 and $501.30 (with another $75.00 service fee & Military discount) to replace a bad blower motor on 13 July 2016 when it went out two weeks later. Hopefully it doesnt break down again!

I have used Ireland Heating and cooling for years.  They will treat you right.  Their prices are fare.  They do great work.  Would recommend them to anyone.
