The park has been newly renovated and my kids loved it, nice for walks, taking the dog, basketball and tennis

We used to live down the street from this park and never had any inclination to go there.  Sometime in the past year or so, they completely redid the kids portion of the park, and our kids absolutely love it.  There's a good mix of amusements for older and younger children including a special swing that allows you (or an older child) to swing at the same time as a toddler (bucket seat).  They have a full size baseball field (looks like a huge infield), but signs say that you must have a permit to use the field.  There's a basketball court, tennis courts and a roller hockey rink.
