Amazing everything bagel !!! I added bacon egg and cheese on it !! It was fire.. even have fresh squeezed juice here very very nice bagel joint way better than DD !! I could taste all the ingredients it was made fast and has a chill atmosphere!!
Good spot! We went twice while on a 4 day vacation. The bagels were fresh and made daily. The first time I had a bagel with honey pecan cream cheese. It was ok but didn’t think the spread was very flavorful. The second time we ordered everything bagels with bacon egg and cheese. Somehow even though we ordered separately she didn’t hear EGG with either order. So it made for a very dry sandwich.. The flavored coffee selections are good. And they do have almond milk for the coffee too.
Disappointing at best. I had a sausage bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel lightly toasted and right from the ordering was where the problems started... For those who don't know everything bagels can come 2 ways, with salt or without... I like to know what I'm expecting so I asked if their everything bagels had salt and the cashier looked at me like I had asked her age and didn't miss a beat and responded "I don't know..." Now I've worked food service before and not knowing your product especially in a limited selection place is totally unacceptable. So I asked if she could find out at this point it could have been due to dietary restrictions or that I didn't like them with salt but she didn't know that and she rudely turned away walked to the rack of bagels behind her picked one up looked at it and told me it did have salt on it... Ok not a big deal I personally prefer them with salt so I placed my order. My wife places her order gets an apple juice and we go sit down. After waiting an acceptable amount of time and still not receiving my coffee I stop paying attention to the beautiful art/decorations on the walls and start looking for my coffee. I watch a woman walk over and inquire about her drinks and gets told that she can take them from the pickup counter so I decide to do the same.. she got no attitude, I got another nasty look like I was doing something wrong or making a strange request... I make my coffee and take a drink, watered down from the ice and sitting... Not a good start to my day... Then the food comes out, things did not get any better... The sandwich was made with the cheese on the bottom but OK some places make their sandwiches differently so who am I to say it's wrong. The sandwich was disappointing as not only was the bagel hard on a stale sitting out kinda was but it was also way over toasted... Lightly toasted looks light brown not dark brown borderline black... And low and behold there is no salt on the bagel so even when the cashier checked and told me there was salt she was still incorrect say it with me PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE people. My wife's food wasn't much better she ordered a bacon omelette with toast and tater tots and hers was just the same as mine... Eggs were ok, tater tots were way way overcooked and the fryer oil could stand to be changed more frequently as they had a funny fishy taste to them and fried fish isn't even offered here meaning the fryer oil wasn't being changed frequently enough. The toast was black so I guess their toaster only has one setting... Priced way too high for the quality of the food and the attitude of the employees... Sadly this place which looks from the outside to be a huge win with very attractive paintwork on both the inside and outside walls and the draw that you can get a "Breakfast Cocktail" is just a big miss and you should keep on walking... Disclaimer: While I was ordering I informed the cashier after the salt attitude situation that I do reviews in hopes to save the breakfast and alas it didn't help anything so...
I'm reviewing specifically for the bagel breakfast sandwiches and hash browns, both of which are extremely fresh and tasty. You can't go wrong with any egg, meat and cheese on a bagel. Note that if you order the hash browns you get 2 of the McDonald's-style variety. They are fresher and tastier, though. We ordered there this summer maybe 4 times. Each time the place was very busy, so calling ahead is a good option. The staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. The prices are a bit high, but they were high everywhere on the island this year thanks to COVID and inflation. Hint: There is a little dead-end side street to the north of the building. I've always found a free parking spot there.
Bagels were so so good, had mine with Nutella. My son got an omelet and hash browns seemed to enjoy it his toast was way too dark but everything else was great. Cute little place friendly people
Island bagels was walking distance from our hotel. The employees were friendly. We ordered a few different breakfast bagels meat, egg, cheese and other bagels with different cream cheese flavors. All of them were quite good. The coffee was good, too. I moved from NJ over 40 years ago, so the taste of a bagel with Taylor Ham hit the spot!
$4 for a bagel w butter that tastes like it came off the shelf at a supermarket. You can also sip on an expired drink out of the cooler while you wait 1/2 the morning for your simple order to be prepared.
Expired drinks in cooler! Don’t buy them! We got these on 9/24, so mad we didn’t check before we left. Bagel was alright
Got a bagel early at 7:00 just as they opened expecting it to be some what fresh, but when I opened it, the onions with soggy and sticky and the bagel it self felt cold and not fresh at all, like it had been stored in a freezer all night. Couldn’t even finish the whole bagel, will not be coming back.
The wait took over an hour, by the time my iced coffee came it was watered down. French toast wasn’t fully cooked, very disappointed.
