Came down to AMI on spring break and was searching for a local gym to prevent the otherwise inevitable vacation laziness. This gym got the best reviews overall so I tried it out. Ended up getting a week membership and enjoyed several classes. Brenda runs a clean club with a great community feel. Welcoming staff. Knowledgeable instructors. And the members were inspiring and we had a great time! Will undoubtedly come back to this gym when we return next year.

We visited AMI during spring break and I attended a few spin classes at Island Fitness. The staff were friendly and welcoming and I'm looking forward to going back here when we head to awesome Anna Maria again! This facility was clean and had a good variety of cardio and weights options.

I cannot say enough kind things about Island Fitness! The owner Brenda is very involved and very willing to make sure you have a great experience! I have never been to a gym more inviting and genuinely concerned about your success!!!! Unfortunately my work schedule has been hectic and I haven't been able to go in a while...still Brenda checks in with me occasionally and follows up to make sure I eventually do get back to the gym! I loved all of the classes, the staff and the cleanliness! Whether you are in town on vacation or a local this is the BEST gym. Nothing else compares....don't believe me? Try it out for yourself, you won't be dissapointed!

I would rate Island fitness 5 stars....especially compared to the other gym/gyms on the island. They make you feel welcome :) like you are a part of them, staff is friendly, and most important the gym is Clean.....it's Bright & a pleasent enviroment to work out in. Brenda the owner is so easy to work with and talk to & a great trainer, I look foward to the classes They are kick butt! You definitley get a workout to say the least :) I love,love,love the R&R class with Ronnie, shes the boom! Foam roller & therapy balls, what a blessing to our muscles.
