Girlfriend and I come ever few months. Best happy hour menu around. We love going for happy hour at the bar. Happy hour menu changes every few month. Wish they would bring back the crispy shrimp tacos on the happy hour menu they were my favorite. Girlfriend loves getting the salmon sampler.

This is a "fast food" outlet, the fish and chips are good, price is comparable to other places.  It is fun to buy your lunch and then go to the seating area on the water in front of Ivar's Salmon House on Lake Union and enjoy the sunshine and the panorama.  Winter time you may not have that opportunity and you have to use the indoor seating next to the counter.  Good fun experience for a summer lunch that will not cost you an arm and a leg!  ;o)

Best fish and chips in Seattle, but I grew up in the UK so I'm easily disappointed by fish and chips here. Ivars does do nice big chunks of fish, and it's always well cooked but the chips are 'french fries' and I miss the 1/2 fish. Hot tip: you can't get a roll and butter for a chip buttie so bring your own! 🍞🍟

Ate at the salmon house attached.  Great view of waterfront.  Excellent food.  Good service, even though we brought three kids (well behaved kids)

Excellent food in an interesting Seattle view location. Almost right under the I-5 bridge on the water. This is an historic Seattle restaurant sure to satisfy the masses. Great food, excellent service and a fabulous local seafood and drink menu.
