The Ivy theater is beautiful theater located on Michigan Avenue. I saw a play there and the play was absolutely beautiful I had a few dislikes for instance there was one bathroom it had multiple stalls but there was a line. Also it was very cold in the theater so just in case you see a play I would bring a sweater. Other than that a very beautiful and clean theater.

A wonderful theatrical venue! The house and stage after quite close together, bringing the audience close into the action. The acoustics and lighting of the theater are top notch and there doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. 

Seating is either general admission or reserved, with the latter being more expensive. If you have a large group or are particular about your seats, you'll definitely want to arrive when the house first opens to snag up some general admission seats together. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an inexpensive night at the theater.

Beautiful venue with great acoustics, and not a bad seat in the house. The steep rise of the seating area means that no heads block your view.

Really great atmosphere. The play, "Is He Dead?", was extremely good.
