Story

Siblings John and Joan Pistone have long been leaders in the food and catering industry here in Northeast Ohio. They learned the business first-hand helping their parents, the owners and operators of many downtown Cleveland establishments, including The Pin Wheel Lounge, The Inner Lobby and the Lincoln Inn on Public Square.

In 2000, this award-winning team opened J.Pistone Market and Gathering Place in Shaker Heights. Offering “Chef-prepared foods” using the freshest of ingredients, a patisserie, wine shop and take-out items, the café is a warm, friendly place to “eat well.” Those too busy to cook or looking for items for a holiday meal, a gift basket or special occasion appreciate the quality of the takeout offerings.

J. Pistone is also one of the premier caterers in this region. From dinners in the homes of local CEOs to holiday parties to black tie benefits, J. Pistone is known to bring an outstanding food experience with lots of value and service
