Juma Gallery, owned by a local artist, Erica Weiss, is a contemporary gift gallery featuring a unique collection of hand crafted decorative and functional art created by artisans across the United States and Canada. A beautiful selection of jewelry, glass, ceramics, paintings, clothing and much more fills these stunning galleries in the old school house building in historic Little Italy in Cleveland, OH and in Shaker Heights, OH (one block west of Warrensville Ctr Rd on Chagrin Blvd)

Strange Experience...BARISTA STANDOFFISH and RUDE. Walked into Juma to give it a try...it looked cute, and coffee addict that I am, I was drawn to it. However, after being greeted very nicely by the woman in the clothing section of the store , I approached the coffee bar. The barista was washing out as bottle, made eye contact, but said nothing. A little strange...no "Hi", no "be right with you"...but, I waited. Then, he walked to the register, at a 90 degree angle from where I was standing, and stood there. The woman who greeted me walked over, and gestured to me. Without turning to look at me, he said "I'll take your order here". Now mind, there were NO OTHER CUSTOMERS...if there was a line, or even any other work he was taking care of at the same time, I could maybe understand. But, no...he walked AWAY from me, OVER to the register facing AWAY from where I was standing, and spoke his words in the direction of the front windows...away from me? WHAT? I put my money back into my pocket, and walked off...explaining to the woman in the front why, and that I thought it was extremely rude, and not customer friendly. So, I tried JUMA, and will now give it a pass. Shame really, as the place looks cute, and I am still a coffee addict (not to mention a chocolate addict as well). But, you will be treated badly, ONLY if you ALLOW yourself to be treated badly .

The best atmosphere to meet a friend, write your novel, study for class. Coffee is superb and lattes are stunning, creamy, made with care. The boutique brings Europe to Cleveland and the gift shop offers one of a kind jewelry, crafts, home decor.

It is a little pricy but its all worth it and is very cool to come on thursdays for live music from 6 to 8pm

Friendly atmosphere and the staff is amazingly friendly. There's nothing to not like!
