Devin, Chris, and Charlie are extremely knowledgeable and professional. They always describe what they're going to do step by step so I have a better understanding of what's being done. All three are hard workers; they get right to work when they arrive and they see everything through until the end. The work they've done for me (outside A/C unit repairs, water heater replacement, and drywall replacement) has always been top notch. I couldn't be happier with the service! And I must mention that Chris is a true gentleman -- he is so polite! They are all very polite, of course, but Chris addresses me as "ma'am" which is an extra bit of customer service I appreciate.

Everyone needs to calm down with the super negative reviews of this place. You all are hyperbolic and drama queens. I went through my home warranty that I got through the purchase of my condo, and that's how I ended up with them. Billy the technician is great. They're busy because they have to hit tons of calls to get paid properly from the many home owners warranty policies they service. That's the way the business works. If you're paying full price, why not look up a little bit more expensive plumber and go with them then you'll really have a reason to complain. My work schedule is insane and they worked with me in a fair way. My gripe was with the Home Warranty company who were causing the communication problem. Give J & S Mechanical a chance, and don't feel the need to complain every time something doesn't work perfect your way because it gives you satisfaction to leave a negative review. There are worse places. Trust me. The front office here seem like they try their best, and while they aren't perfect, you as a customer need to be proactive too and flexible. Well, flexible to the extent that if the work goes over a bit you need to plan for that. They're just extremely busy with calls from the home warranty companies who are sending them out. Granted I was flexible because my warranty was paying for it, but still, have some semblance of understanding and patience. These people are worked like dogs by the Home Warranties. And Atlanta traffic is crazy. I know Billy the plumber has been to my house via J&S at least 9 times and he has fixed all the issues perfectly fine, but there have been reschedules, yes, because Atlanta traffic is crazy and their work load it heavy. Billy probably never gets a lunch break, as he has told me. He still was always very apologetic. This guy would make a good supervisor.

**I first left 4 stars. But I bumped to 5. Below is my initial review. But I have since had my issue completed and was quite pleased with J&S install of our evap coil. If we have any issues, I will let them know, but everything went very well. I would most definitely work with them again** I am leaving a review, even though my service has not yet been completed due to waiting on home warranty part to be ordered. I am giving a four stars now, but will update depending on how the install of my AC goes. But so far, fantastic service. I want to leave a positive review not just for the reason I am pleased with service, but also looking at all the negative reviews. Most of the people who have left bad reviews have reviewed other companies and left pretty much the same angry reviews, leaving me to believe these people may just be very temperamental human beings. It seems when service is not up to par we all come online to vent, but when service is excellent we tend not to leave a review. So I would like to ensure I give J&S a positive review. Anyway, I have had GREAT service thus far with J & S Mechanical. Their customer service is professional and kind. I spoke with at least three different individuals on the phone, they all were articulate and knowledgeable. I have been calling almost every day to check on my work order status, and each time they answer with patience and understanding. Not once have they been rude due to my persistence. The technician who came out to review our issue was able to access our situation, and quickly know what to recommend and he entered our report in a timely manner. We reported to home warranty on Thursday, J&S came out on Saturday, and the part was ordered Tuesday. Now we are waiting to schedule the appointment once the parts arrive. Hopefully all will go well in scheduling/install. But for now I have been satisfied with J&S services.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I honestly cannot believe how unprofessional they are. Long story short I took time off to be available for my new motor to be installed in my AC. They weren't able to come out that day so I told them I wouldn't be home until 2:30 the next day. They told me they would note that for the technician. At 1:00 I get a call that I've missed the appointment. What?!?! I told them I wouldn't be there. So now I'm going on over a week with AC. Of course I call and explain my frustration. Ask if they can come back today- rude lady says no! Basically I need to take another day off and be at their mercy. Oh get this...I complained how hot my house is (About 85) she laughs and says well I'm sitting nice and cool at 70 in my office then hangs up!! STAY FAR AWAY! I will be sure to tell everyone I know how terrible they are! Btw. Apparently this company takes more time defending poor reviews than actually doing good work! You can see in their response to mine how rude they are. Would you want someone working in your house who acts like this? Such an embarrassment of a company.

I have now used J&S mechanical twice now for my A/C through my warranty company, and they have fixed the issues on time. They were always timely in their responses and updates. Most importantly someone always picks up the phone! And the guys who come to fix have always been professional and ready to work without complaining. I've had contractors come that complain about something or another given the setup of my house. I don't understand the negative reviews, but also understand every situation is different. Will be using them again and recommending to friends and family.
