As the former owner of K O Tire in Elk Grove from 1985 through May 2015, and the present owner of “Tire Service” EGV, I have been friends with Adam and Joe at J & Z Garage since they moved to Elk Grove. I’m not writing this 5 STAR review because they’re friends, great guys, with a great business, and perform exceptional work, this review is about “Customer Service”
I’m writing this review, not to boost the business, they’ve already proved themselves in the community, I’m writing this review because of Adam, and the way he treated my customer. as busy as he was yesterday, stopped what he was doing to do a diagnostic check on a TPMS system for a twenty plus year customer of mine. I recommended Adam at J & Z to Harry, told him to stop by or call for an appointment as it usually takes a while to check it out, and they’d probably be extremely busy. Harry drove over to 
J & Z, asked for Adam, explained the problem, and the rest couldn’t have turned out better.
Harry stopped back at my shop, a short time after his visit with Adam. Harry came back so impressed, not only with the way Adam treated him, but the fact that they were extremely busy, and Adam took care of him right away.
I’ve got a really good feeling Adam, you, and J & Z Garage just picked up a new customer, as a matter of fact, I know it.

worst shop i have ever dealt with. would not recommend to anyone. 
they cant fix anything. dropped off a van for steering issues and they said nothing was wrong so i looked at it my self and the pittman arm was completely shot. they do not not know what they are doing.

Exceptional service with a acceptable time frame to complete the work. The cost is always reasonable. The owners are very friendly, honest and dedicated to servicing their customers.

I've been coming to J&Z Garage for years with several cars, thanks to a friend's recommendation originally, and I've always found the service here to be pleasant, trustworthy, very competent and reasonably priced. Most recently I came in the evening to fix something which was causing the engine to run rough. They knew right away what was the cause, and fixed it promptly the next day. They even fixed a mechanical problem with the driver's door that I mentioned but hadn't expected to be fixed! That's going above and beyond expectations! Thank you Joe & Adam!!!
