Crab cakes are as good as we've had up and down the East coast. We had issues with other food. Owner contacted me quickly on FB review and offered to.make it right next visit. Server was young and inexperienced, made him seem rude at times. Owner appoligized and made no excuses. Was impressed with owners attitude. Large restaurant, good for groups or individual. Gets crowded at night. Fellow customers were friendly. 50-100 yards from lake. Great views on front porch area and through large window seating. Older building, but no musty aroma. We'll go back for crabcakes for sure. The restaurant offers shuttle service, golf cart limo, from lake boat dock and nearby camping area. Kareoke on certain nights. Folks having fun. Update. Ate here again, Saturday 11/25/17. The crab cakes didn't disappoint. Best I've had in a long time. Asparagus perfect tonight. Red potatoes cut small, seasoned and delish. Batter was perfect on shrimp tonight; we asked for not the cornmeal. Husband ordered catfish filet with the special plater; 3 palm size pieces, fried to perfection, and 12 shrimp. He got two hushpuppies that made me a bit jealous, I didn't get them. We really appreciated our waitress, she was as lovely as the meal, Julia. Steve's order was messed up a bit, but Julia reworked it to our satisfaction.

poor customer service.... horrible wait time... did not get all of our food at once! No one ever came back to give us refills nor ask if we needed anything! I have ate here plenty of times yet this was the first time I ever had to complain... Guess it's new management!! Will not be eating here EVER AGAIN!!! If you're looking for a great restaurant with great customer service and great food please try "The Silver Moon"!!!

Staff is friendly. Asparagus and Green beans were great. Portions are a little on the slim side vs. cost. The ribeye was FANTASTIC! Excellent sear! However the Steam Pot leaves something to be desired. The andouille sausage wasn't, it was a spicy smoked sausage. The crawdads and peel and eat shrimp were over-cooked. Had no flavor. Cost compared to quality on this dish wasn't up to par by a long shot. No butter or sauces of any kind we're brought nor offered. When butter was requested for my dish that contained corn on the cob, potatoes, and shrimp...I was brought something cold that resembled melted butter but the flavor was nearly non-existent. One shrimp was bad, another had not been fully de-veined, and a few were still sandy. The Cajun Crab dip was great! Price vs. quality is important. So, order the steak.
