Jason was absolutely wonderful to work with.  He helped us out in a time critical situation.  Selling our home an inspection revealed a problem with a double tapped circuit breaker but no more space to add one, so needed to either add another sub panel or replace main panel allowing for future expansion if needed. We needed the work done quickly to meet closing deadlines.  He worked with us on pricing and got the job done.  Communication was great always got back to us immediately.  Was great in explaining everything that would need to be done and when it would be done.  Highly recommend him.  Have passed on his information to new owners of our house to use for any electrical needs.

This review almost didn't  make it because even though i was referred to JAJ  by another contractor, I looked up there reviews to investigate who i would hire. When I seen the last review i shook my head and said uh oh why would a contractor I have worked with for years refer me to an electrical company that has a bad review?  I reached out to the company and found that Jason is not the full blown owner but one of the two head Electricians. I also found out that JAJ is an llc registered with the state of Virginia which different individuals within the company own portions and at the time of the last extreme review they were in a company split along with the passing of a family member that they explained was close to Jason. So with this explanation , the recommendation from the general contractor, and the 99% of reviews other than the 1 bad one I took a chance. OH and i forgot there price was awesome! I had my federal pacific electrical panel replaced , Inspected , and now my closing has went through and the house is sold! I will never judge any company or store again by 1 review. If i did i would have never found out the extreme that some people may go to to bad mouth someone and try and make there life miserable because of a disagreement that maybe they were at fault and failed to mention. I cant wait to now have the generator and new lighting fixtures installed at our new home this fall by JAJ. Keep pushing Jason and Team!!!!!! (i will be posting before and after photos for you as well)

My original review was deleted so here it is again. After arriving 5 hours late to replace my power panel Jason informed me that he would come back to finish the job and would be present when the county inspector inspected the power panel. Long story short I checked with the county not only did he not pull the permits he no showed 3 times for the inspection. After a few days of emailing, calling and texting him i went to his place of business after noticing that the JAJ website was mysteriously down. I was informed that he has not occupied that office in over 8 months and they were not surprised that he did not finish the job. I then had to hire an actual electrician and took him 5 hours to finish the job including installing new grounding rods etc. If you hire him ask to see his business permit and electric license Because he doesnt have one! AVOID JAJ LIGHTING AND POWER!

JAJ Lighting & Power LLC has been providing all electrical services to me and my clients for over 2 years now.  Being a Realtor, it is imperative that I recommend to my clients, service companies that provide excellent work at a reasonable cost!  JAJ Lighting & Power has never let me down.  They are professional, courteous, and believe in total customer satisfaction.  I highly recommend them to Realtors and all in need of any, and all electrical services!!!  I'd like to personally thank JASON, whom I have had the pleasure and good fortune of him servicing several of my jobs!

Initially there was a miscommunication with the new receptionist, but after leaving a voice message, the owner promptly returned my call and made my service call a priority. Jason immediately knew the problem with my busted circuit and was able to fix it within a very timely manner. He also fixed an issue with a light unit on the exterior of my house that I wasn't aware had a problem. Jason also installed a programmable light switch for me. I need to purchase another programmable light switch for a 4-way circuit and he said he would come back and install it for free! JAJ Lighting and Power are a stand up company and honestly takes care of their customers without taking any shortcuts or advantage of you. I'm very pleased with my experience and will be using them for all of my home electric needs.
