Dan came out to trouble shoot our outdoor light. We were charged $170 for him to come out and tell us it is not hooked into the power. We were quoted between $650 and $750 to hook it up and run another outdoor light.  We agreed to the quote and Dan came back and did the work.  He does do good work! But he advised us to get the other outdoor light at Home Depot, which I did.  He said it will save money.  I have no doubt it did.  After hooking up our first light we all realized we have 24 volt bulbs.  Dan again advised just go to Home Depot and get 120 volt bulbs.  Well no store in our area carries that bulb in 120 volts.  I have since found it online.  I disliked the service because if I didn't know anything about this project I would have shelled out even more money for Dan to come back and "fix" the first light again.  He suggested we add a power converter to the line so it makes the light a 24 volt light again.  We also asked for a quote on upgrading our panel from a 60 amp service to a 200 amp service and run another line.  This quote was over $600 more than other quotes.  They did come down in price on the quote once I pointed that out, but it was still higher and I just don't trust the company now.  Always remember and get multiple quotes for any work done and if Baker is your cheapest quote they do okay work.  I would just not go back to them.

Had an emergency this morning.  Water leaked from 3d level bathroom into kitchen area on main level.  Water collected in kitchen light module, so I killed the power and called Bakers.  Technician arrived and quickly fixed problem and dried all electrical circuits in light housing.  This accident could have been a lot worse had I turned on the lights which would have caused a fire.  Thankful for Bakers Electrical Service for isolating problem and repairing light housing structure.
